You get awarded this achievement at the end of the final race of the season, provided you do not use a continue, and really you shouldn't need to.

As long as you have some experience of bike racing games you should do this without issue, even if you have little experience, by playing on the Gentle setting you should still do this without any problems.

I ended up with over 40 minutes in the bank when it got to the final race and I stopped trying to rack up time halfway through, here is some info on how I played it.

I started off by having the Race Settings on:

Laps: 3
Difficulty: Gentle (why make it any harder)
Tyre Wear: Off

I raced on 125cc as the bikes are more agile and I found its a bit easier to slipstream, but more on that later.

If you are new to bike racing, you may want to set up the following in the Tune Bike Setup menu: Under "Assists" Turn everything on, apart from Auto Brake

With the ABS turned on, you shouldn't fall off very often, even if you do need to brake a bit earlier, you'll find the AI are not very quick so there should be little problem catching up if you do fall, or getting to the front from the start.

I also liked to race with Left Trigger as "Brake" and A button as "Rear Brake", that's selectable on the main menu under Settings, Control Settings That's how I've played all the Moto GP's and SBK's and I find it gives a nice level of control.

Now when I started off I knew I wanted to work towards the following achievement:

MotoGP 10/11Running the EconomyThe Running the Economy achievement in MotoGP 10/11 worth 47 pointsSpend a total of 10 minutes slipstreaming in Challenge Mode.

So generally during the first 10 races or so I would get into 2nd place and try and sit behind the leader to build up a nice amount of slipstream, then get past them on the final lap to take the win as that provides a nice time bonus.

All the while I was trying to pick up Clean Sections the best "paying" bonus and Perfect Racing Lines, on 125cc this was pretty straight forward with the lower speeds and improved bike agility.

At the end of race 1, you should get the following achievement

MotoGP 10/11Time HoarderThe Time Hoarder achievement in MotoGP 10/11 worth 35 pointsFinish a race with more time than you started with without using any continues in Challenge Mode.

Even If you don't try for it you may well get the following achievement from that first race as well

MotoGP 10/11MethodicalThe Methodical achievement in MotoGP 10/11 worth 28 pointsGet every type of time bonus within the same lap on Challenge Mode.

After I had completed Indianapolis I had unlocked the 10mins of slipstreaming achievement and had well over 30mins in the time bank.
At this point I stopped slipstreaming and got to the front at the start and raced through as quickly as possible picking up the clean sections and perfect lines along the way, you don't build up much extra time, but I gained some time each race until the end and even with an odd crash in the wet, finished the season without any concerns.
