Dishwasher strategy:

[Update]: Check the bottom of the post for an infinite Moonfish glitch.

First, you want to upgrade your health, magic and Cleavers to the max for you to stand a chance (using the Y-X combo) through Samurai. Some parts in the game are pretty hard but the Y-X Cleaver Combo rips enemies in two... Literally.

Rather than the pick&mix list above, I would suggest using the following beads:
Eye (Enemies Block 'Signifcantly' Less)
Rocket (Rocket Damage Is Slightly Decreased)
Hacksaw (Increased Melee Damage)
Heart (or Skull) (Increased Health/Skull drops)
Bat (Leech-life Per Hit)
Shield (Less Damage Taken)

It's still a pretty long list but for around 95% of the game you will only be using:
Heart (or Skull)

The others are used only in particular places.
Rocket - Landcruiser Stadium.
Eye - Aqua Marina, Justice Summit and The Stagnant Nightmare.

You replace the Heart Bead on all above occassions (Heart is useless unless killing normal enemies). The reason is that in each of the levels the bosses have elements that make them harder, so by using certain beads you can weaken them in some ways. The Rockets being shot at you on 'The Goalie' boss battle is the most annoying part of that fight. You can easily Y attack left or right, move your analog stick to the opposite side and push X. You will basically be cutting through 'The Goalie' from one side to another and he will have a hard time hitting you, or so he did me. (Rockets fired from bots do cause the majority of the damage in the fight, that's why you use the Rocket Bead here)

As for 'The Symbiotic Swordmaster' (Not 100% on the name) and 'The Fallen Engineer', they block your attacks almost constantly. Eye does work to an extent. I noticed both bosses blocking slightly less but not enough to make them easy fights. The worst part about 'Swordmaster' is the enemies that spawn. You have the Spec-ops (which are pretty easy) but then Sharkrobots I believe, which take off most of your health if they land on you and become a royal pain with their rockets.

Now, for Dishmagic. I cannot stress enough that Dishmagic is ONLY to be used for the Spritdish (I think it's called that, terrible memory... LT+A anyway). This will save you everytime you're close to death. Only use it if you're about to die, do not spam more than one at a time otherwise you'll be wasting them; at any moment you could find an enemy drops health (from the Heart Bead) so then you'll have less skulls to bail yourself out someother time (unless you pick up one from an enemy).

Checkpointing you can use to your advantage also. You start with whatever health you entered an area with, (sometimes you get full rejuv) so if you haven't done as good as you want in an area (without using healing items) die purposely, restart from checkpoint and have another go. You do not want to waste items in Samurai.

Talking about checkpointing. If you die so many times in an area the spawning will change (or so it seems). The easier enemies will spawn first, enabling you to take them out and focus on the harder ones last.

Another thing is that some levels do not have a shopbot to purchase items from. I believe there isn't any in the last two levels. On most levels, If you use up all, or most of your items, backtrack to where you saw the shopbot and purchase items, this will make things easier in the long run.

If you're worried about gold; equip the Money Bead, go to Lunar Wastes on Ninja/Samurai and rush to Goreface. You can farm zombies from it as much as you want. If by chance you're about to kill him, purposely die and restart from checkpoint. You will keep all the gold you earned previously and he will be at full health again. (You do need to defeat him and complete the level for the gold to count).

Above all else, remember that the Cleaver Y-X combo will not make you invincible even though you can avoid most attacks while using it. There is a slight delay between attacks where you can be hit. With the Bat Bead you will gain health with every hit so you will always be gaining life somehow while fighting (Spiritdish Magic/Health drops/Leech-life) and that's the most important thing in Samurai.

One last thing, enemies can damage each other. Keep this in mind when facing multiple bosses or enemies.

Edit: Thanks to RedSkinFan26 and other members on Xbox360Achievements I've just found that there's a glitch for infinite use of items to make Samurai easier

If you have only one of an item, use it and then reload the item menu (back to close, back again to reopen) and push A. You will use the item again without having it in your inventory. So buy one Moonfish and make sure it is the only thing in your inventory, use it so you have no items at all, go back onto the menu then when it says "You have nothing to eat." push A. You will reuse the Moonfish and regain all your health. Spam when necessary.

You will be able to spam Moonfishes until you use another item. So I suggest you don't.

The glitch works until you Dashboard or turn off your console.
