Here are the Wizard Goals for the Firepower-table:

Wizard Goals
1. Earn an Extra Ball
2. Activate Multi-ball
3. Earn the 50,000 point FIREPOWER bonus
4. Advance the bonus to its maximum
5. Score at least 750,000 points

As goals 1, 2, 4 and 5 are pretty obvious or can be looked up in the instructions I'll only give my advice to goal #3:

3. Earn the 50,000 point FIREPOWER bonus:

To earn the FIREPOWER bonus of 50.000 points you'll have to hit and complete the FIRE rollovers AND the POWER spot targets 4 times with ONE BALL!
This goal has nothing to do with the center spot target beneath the FIRE rollovers.
(I kept believing that you have to light the 50.000 by completing FIREPOWER 3 times and then hit the top center spot target --> THIS IS WRONG!
I advanced my FIREPOWER bonus to 50.000 a few times so far, but always tried to complete the goal by hitting the center spot target instead of completing FIREPOWER a 4th time. That's the main reason I didn't unlock this by now. ...will "correct" this today ;) )

When the 50.000 FIREPOWER bonus at the top of the table is lit, go for completing the FIRE rollovers and the POWER spot targets a fourth time to achieve the goal.
And remember: You have to do this with one and the same ball.
If you light 10.000 and/or 30.000 points and lose the ball the FIREPOWER bonus will be reset.

The only little "help" is when you complete whether the FIRE or the POWER goals for the first time and don't complete the other ones the hit targets will be heldover to the next ball.
For example:
Ball 1: You complete the FIRE rollovers and only hit 2 of the three POWER spot targets. --> The red FIRE bar (near the left lock) will be lit but the blue POWER bar won't be as you only have hit 2 of 3 targets. Then you lose the ball and start your second one.
The completed FIRE bar will be heldover and as soon you hit the 3rd POWER target this will also result in your first FIREPOWER completion.
So FIREPOWER completion will always count for that particular ball FIREPOWER is really fully completed.

Also, always keep in mind that multiball and the left kickback are your friends and will prevent your (final) ball from draining eventually.
So, I'd suggest not going for the FIRE and POWER targets exclusively, but also try to hit the center spot targets frequently to re-lite your kickback and also try to advance you multiball progress as it's pretty relieving to continue chasing your FIREPOWER bonus goal with three (respectively with two "losable" balls) when you already - for instance - completed FIREPOWER twice so far.

So don't bother continuing a game with a screwed up first ball as long as you have made a little setup for you first FIREPOWER completion by hitting a few of the required targets as those will be heldover to your second ball (which also applies for multiball progress).
