This is for the boss fight on Easy difficulty using E'lara.

For a blind dragon, the boss is very astute and can track its target pretty well. The blasts it delivers seem more arcane than fire and come in barrages so learn to dodge well to avoid the full brunt of the blasts.

I recommend destroying all vases around the area for easier potion pickup later.

The method to defeating this boss is not to use your own weapons but the bombardiers located on each side of the lower area.

The dragon will be initially be on the right side ledge of the area as you come down the stairs. So go to the bombardier on the left across from it to get a shot (the other one would end up being too close to raise up to the ledge the dragon's on).

Press B to strap yourself in and take aim at the chest area of the dragon. Press B again to disengage and dodge when you hear the dragon inhaling to deliver its blasts. Return fire after. Three hits will send the dragon flying back up and land on the opposite left side ledge.

You then go the right side bombardier and use the same tactic. Three hits and the dragon will go to the middle.

Here, you can shoot from either side so you don't need to switch.

But the annoyance comes in the form of various skeletons that would often hit you before you can aim your shot. Caddoc can't fend them all off for you, so you'll have to go into the fray yourself to prevent your shots from being interrupted. The problem is that the skeletons continuously respawn, so you can only get a few seconds reprieve each time. And by the third bombardier, the boney mobs will turn into red-tinged warrior skellies, who you may now know are relentless melee damage dealers.

Skeletons seem very susceptible to fire, which may be why the dragon's blasts are arcane. The arcane blasts would knock the skeletons down but so far I haven't seen a blast kill them. Use your own fire spells and/or arrow shots to help turn the tide a bit against them.

If you're low on mana or health, run around the battle area to find vase and mob drops. Keep moving to avoid the dragon's blasts (that's why I recommended breaking the vases before the battle heated up).

Once you've hit the dragon at the center 3 times, he should start flying up and as he's hovering in the air, you should shoot him again. A few more times should be enough to bring him down for good, earning you a chapter 5 completion!
