I've found that it's easiest to go with the same deck for all three people on your side, with two different decks to choose from:

    1. Jace's Realm of Illusion. Very few Adversary decks seem to be capable of dealing with flyers currently. Krovikan Mist will be the center of your attack and nearly every creature you and your allies are summoning will either pump it up or be another flyer. With Cancel and Repulse to cut down the heavy hitters it won't be long before you win.

    2. Chandra's Unquenchable Fire. While one on one the direct damage spells are usually best used against creatures, Archenemy is very different. You and your allies should pretty much be casting every damage spell you can on the opponent directly rather than any creatures. The creatures you summon are generally better used as shields while you continue your assaults with Instants and Sorceries. You'll win fast or lose fast.

QuarantaneI just finished this, and Chandra made short work of almost everyone, beat them all in 1, 2, or when I had bad luck with schemes 3 times. And Nichol was dead the first time.

While I did win, some were very close, and I literally won with the luck of my final draw, can't tell you how lucky you feel when you draw blaze with 11 mana when the enemy is at 10 health, while you're looking at a 12/12 with annihilator 4 about to attack next turn and kill you. Upvote

As others have said, Nicol's deck is based more on sorcery and instants rather than creatures. Plus, his deck is super powerful and would be hard to beat without the scheme cards. After trying to beat him many times, I realized the key to beating him.

Nicol likes to keep one or two mnemonic walls in his hand plus many sorcery cards. His strategy is to have an artifact on the table to slowly chip away at your life and burn down your own creatures while having little to none himself. He will focus fire on a big creature to kill it or use the Damnation card (which destroys all creatures) on any creatures with shroud.

The key is to have some way to remove the cards from his hand. I think that is the best way to tilt the odds in your favor. Since he typically doesn't have many creatures, and mostly spells, you will seriously handicap him by doing this.

I had some good success with playing the ancient depths deck with two AI blue decks. Now, in this match, I would suggest that you use other decks for your AI partners. The elf or vampire decks come to mind as good replacements. Just find some way to remove the cards from his hand and you will have a good chance to win.

I ended up doing it with the Blue/Green deck and using the Rite of replication card (kicked) on a cheap 2/1 black creature Nicol played. This created 5 clones of that card (ability: when the creature enters the battlefield, every opponent discards a card). I was able to remove 5 cards from Nicol's hand in one turn and killed him two-three turns later.

DonkeyBong71i managed to beat him first try with 3x Jace. maybe i was lucky. but i had earned Kraken's Eye by then, which kept on rejuvinating my health, meaning i was able to absorb most of the attacks and use my instants to protect the other Jace's.

Personnally i choose the elfs decks for all players and with the boost between each creatures it was a great carnage :p. You can win easily in 5, 6 turns with goods hands, dont hesitate to reset the game otherwise.

Try to avoid control deck (blue or artefact) for our allies if u play with AI, sometimes the computer make incredibles errors like summon creatures and dont keep mana for counterspells...
