This Guide is assuming that you have an Xbox Controller connected to your PC; if you do not, then refer to the in-game Control Settings for what inputs are required.

Arcade is home to many Hidden Fighters, with Oni being one of the more Challenging; defeating Oni is not really that much of a problem, the struggle for this Achievement comes from actually filling the requirements to fight him in the first place.

The requirements to encounter Oni vary depending on the rounds you have your Arcade set to; for simplicity sake, we're going to have our Arcade settings to 1 Round, and as such these are the requirements:

One Round
- Never Lose a Round
- 5 First Hits
- 3 Ultra Combo/ Super Combo Victories
- 1 Perfect Victory
- Finish Seth with either a Super Combo or an Ultra Combo

If for any reason you want to have your settings on three rounds, then these would be the requirements for you instead;

Three Rounds
- Never Lose a Round
- 10 First Hits
- 5 Ultra Combo/ Super Combo Victories
- 2 Perfect Victories
- Finish Seth with either a Super Combo or an Ultra Combo

Choose whatever Character you feel most confident with and start Arcade on the Hardest Difficulty with the Rounds set to either 1 or 3 (Recommended 1) depending on your preference, and time set to 30 seconds. If you are stuck on what Character to pick, or you just want to get this Achievement out of the way, then I highly recommend you pick Zangief with Ultra 1.

*To make things a little easier, plug in a Second Controller. If you are close to losing, press Start on the Second Controller to interrupt your Arcade and have you fight against yourself. Win this game to return back to your Arcade without a loss.

If you chose to pick Zangief, this is the most effectiveness method for this Achievement, with the only problem coming from trying to Achieve a Perfect Victory. Pressing Triple Punch (cn_LB) will cause Zangief to Spin round with his fists out (Double Lariat), giving him brief invincibility to some moves, and generally causing good damage against your Opponent. If you have your rounds set to one, then you will only need to get one perfect victory and this first Match is where we will try to get it.

As soon as the Match begins, use Zangief's Double Lariat and begin moving towards the Opponent. Nine times out of Ten, you will catch your Foe and knock them to the ground. Wait a second, then activate Double Lariat and repeat. Should your Opponent hit you, pause the game and exit to the Main Menu, then start Arcade again. Double Lariat will pass through most projectiles, so fighting Higher Tier Characters like Ryu and Ken shouldn't prove too much of a problem.

Now that we have our Perfect Victory, we can focus on getting the rest of the First Hits and Super/ Ultra Victories. Continuing with the above Double Lariat strategy, you should easily be able to get your required First Hits. Zangief's Ultra Combo is Two Full Circles + Triple Punch (cn_LB); when you get your Opponent down to a reasonably low amount of health, let them beat you up until you can use your Ultra. Zangief's Ultra is also a Grab, which means it cannot be blocked, although it can be dodged, so try to use it just as the Opponent lands, or while your Opponent is in an Animation of performing a move.

Follow the same technique for Seth; get him down to a very small amount of health, then use your Ultra combo whenever you can. Seth enjoys teleporting a lot, but I found that mostly he teleported in a sequence of three; as such, you should attempt to grab him after his third teleport to reduce chances of missing.

Assuming that you have filled all of the requirements (If you had less than the required Ultra/ Super Victories, then you will face against Evil Ryu instead, voiding this Achievement), after defeating Seth you will automatically Fight Oni. Double Lariats work just as well with him, but I found him to be Smarter than the majority of the previous AI, meaning that I won by Timeout instead.

Defeating Oni will net you your Achievement. Remember to use the Second Player Exploit effectively, especially when fighting Oni; if you are about to lose against him, make sure you Tag In your other Controller.
