*UPDATE* Swarm is still the least glitchy way to get this achievement (no reported failures yet), where as for Conquest it's still glitchy, but RadiantViper reported success in that game type after a few missed unlocks.

Start a custom ranked Swarm match on the maps and dont hack the control until other players have joined because my experience is that if the timer has started players joining in wont recieve credit.

For Overseer, place turrets and supply depots on the roof on the control's building for help, and around half way you should try to get two players in mechs. Use rapid fire or frag sniper and anything that has incendiary mods for extra damage.

Sora401KThis won't pop for me in Conquest/Assault, so I guess I'll try Swarm. Thanks for the tip.

Sora401KWorked like a charm. I camped the point with a mech and had next to no problems. First try I won and it popped immediately.

It’s pretty hard to find a server with at least three other players playing this specific DLC map, so I did this solo on a custom ranked Swarm game. It’s hard, but doable. Just don’t expect to finish this on your first try! Oh, and as you can see, it’s a long read…

Go to Swarm, custom match and press X. Make it a ranked game with medium difficulty (unfortunately the lowest difficulty to count as ranked) and pick the right map.

For my loadout I used an Assault Rifle with Automation Mod and a Shotgun with Incendiary Rounds, the Riot Mortar and Repair Tool. I maxed out Composite Plating and put some points into Tungsten Coating, Gyro Stabilizer and Repair Field. A Rocket Launcher could also be a good idea for use against the Mechs and Bikes instead of a Shotgun.

Before you start hacking, press start, go to DCM and turn on VIP. This will force the VIP mission during the second third of the match, instead of the Recover mission. The VIP will then fight alongside you during the rest of the match.

The Control Point in this map is in a building with just one entry point. I camped the whole match on the roof of that building.

The first five minutes shouldn’t give any problems, so just use that time to kill a lot and gather enough money for the next ten minutes. I placed a Minigun Turret on the edge of the west side of the roof. It’s unfortunately not ideal, because the roof itself obscures parts of the map for the turret. But any enemy who tries to enter the building will get shot. Two bots in your team should be downstairs defending the CP room and defusing any hack attempts so you can stay on the roof. One bot stayed with me on the roof and built some Depots and Turrets. I placed the next Minigun on the southeastern side of the roof and had to stay there continuously repairing it until I had enough money for a Depot. It can get very hot up there so crouch and retreat to the back of the roof if you’re low on health. Together with the Turrets of the bot it should be a pretty good defense.

Sometime after the first airstrike two Mechs will appear. Try to kill them as quickly as possible before they’ve destroyed all the turrets your bots placed on the ground. Use your Mortar, Rocket Launcher, or build some Missile Turrets to keep them off. During these five minutes the VIP mission should become available. In my experience the VIP is strong enough to finish the mission on his own, so I always ignored helping him.

When the map is wiped clean by the second airstrike repair everything and heal the VIP. In the last two minutes three Mechs will appear and the can easily mess everything up. Fortunately they have to use the stairs to enter the CP room and on their way they will destroy every Turret and Depot your bots have placed. What I did was placing two Missile Turrets right before the entrance and kept placing new ones when they were destroyed. Money really was of no concern to me at this point. Try to keep them busy so the bots can focus on the regular enemies and defuse those hacks. If the CP gets hacked with less than 20 seconds to go, you’ve already won. The final airstrike will kill all leftover enemies, even Mechs and you should have enough time to defuse the hack.

All in all I found this one the easiest to solo of the three DLC map achievements.

    Good luck!
