If you are having troubles with this achievement, try to max out your shotgun perk as it will increase the size of its blast. It pops in game as soon as you bag 5 birds with one blast.

(Edit) If you are solely looking for this achievement, other members have suggested you try the Nuevo Leon (Survival) level in Mexico as there are 2 large flocks of birds.
    - thanks Brainiac427 & Devilmanic for your suggestions.

TheTraderGuyThough I'm still trying to mop this one up, I'll agree with the above. As I can tell, the game's very last level is a gold mine for all achievements - there's a slow-mo powerup very shortly before the flock of birds appear. Combine this with the Max Shotgun, and that makes what I believe the game's best opportunity.

DevilmanicDo you remember what level you got this on?

planting42The final reserve (Tanzania) and the final level there (Morogoro) is the best place I found, the first power up is a slo-mo just before a good flock and if you take the left hand branch when given the choice halfway through, there is another flock of birds as well.

Brainiac427No matter how many times I tried it, I could not get this in Morogoro. I finally got it in the survival level in Mexico. Yes, it means being hurt by predators while focusing on the birds, but there are two huge, clustered flocks of birds that come out during the level, and there is even a slo-mo power-up. I got it on the second flock without the slo-mo (not the first time, but after a few tries).

DevilmanicBraniac427 is right, I played the Nuevo Leon (Survival) level in Mexico, and got this on the first playthrough. The second flock is clustered just right for you to get 5 in one shot...

BlazinBuckwheatYep, go with Braniac's choice, the level takes about 3 min. I averaged 50-60 birds each run, save slo-mo power for 2nd set of birds.

TheTraderGuyThough I ultimately got it in Morogoro, I would recommend if you're just starting to go after this achievement to abide by Braniac's choice when all is said and done. I was much more familiar with the lay of the land having attempted Morogoro 10 or 15 times (compared to the one Campaign playthrough of Mexican Survival), but if that's a non-issue, I would strongly agree with Brainiac.
