Select Practice and choose John Anderson as your character. Head over to the Summer season and select Bruiseball. The timing is a bit different from Wipeout: In the Zone, so be patient.

In the first section, jump to the first platform and get used to stopping and crouching quickly by holding your arms forward and crouching. If you don't stop, you're likely to belly slide right off the edge. Repeat on the second (main) platform and as soon as the sweeper passes overhead, make a dash for the next base.

The next section is easier. Jump across the see-saws, ducking or jumping the sweeper as needed. Jumping is always risky, so try to keep yourself in a position to duck the sweeper.

Now comes the sliding platforms. Jump to the first platform when you can reach it and position yourself about two-thirds of the way to the far edge. As soon as the sweeper passes while the platforms are close, jump to the next one and duck. When the sweeper passes again, jump for solid ground.

Lastly, jump at the end of the treadmill and lean forward to grab the -5 sec. ring and home plate.

It takes some practice, and a bit of luck, but I got the achievement with a time of 1:05 on my 4th try, perfect for also getting "Practice Makes Even Better."
