    Tips:

-instead of bending, you can hammer-on, or even directly play the note you are supposed to be bending up to.

There are three types of bends in this mini-game. Small, medium, and big. Playing 2 frets above the fret you are supposed to be bending, usually works for the small and medium bends. The big bend requires 3 frets above the suggested fret .For example, if it shows a 5th fret medium bend, you could just hammer-on to the 7th fret instead of bending.

-If there is no bend, then just play the suggested note.

-The game becomes very fast, but you are able to pause the game to your advantage. This allows you to see the fret and string that you need to play, without needing to rush.

-The more hits you get in a row, the more score you obtain. When you get a strike, it resets.

RIVE XNGLESince the patch, you can no longer pause the game to your advantage unless you delete the update and play offline.

I wanna know why my batter won't swing when playing the non-bent notes. It's annoying. Also, sometimes my guy swings the millisecond the ball is thrown even though I didn't strum or touch my aux cable. I'd say my hardware's faulty, but other aspects of the game seem fine. :/

RIVE XNGLEJust a follow up. I managed to unlock the achievement mainly using hammer-ons instead of bends.

For my guitar, (I use a Fender Stratocaster) my pick-up selector is in second position, tone knobs are middle balance, and my volume is relatively low. This setup avoided those nitpicks I had made earlier about the jankyness. Granted, I still encountered a few instances of not swinging on unbent notes despite playing them.

An addition to Carlos' tips, the tones that play before the note comes up are at the same pitch as the one you're meant to play - i.e. you'll hear a couple of tones of the un-bent note, and then one of the bent note.

Also, the speed of the drum track tells you the speed the ball will come at, i.e. the timing for playing your note.
