    A complete guide to "Exterminator"


    INTERVAL 01 - INCEPTION

    POINT OF ORIGIN

    no enemies


    INTERVAL 02 - INITIATION

    FIRST ENCOUNTER

    [ ] After the cutscene of Alma killing your teammates you enter a building. In the room after the dying employee there are 2 Replica
    [ ] In the area after the next checkpoint there are 6 Replica in total (inside the building & outside area)
    [ ] Enter the next building. In the room next to the one with the paranormal activity and the health booster there are 3 Replica
    [ ] 2 more Replica in the next (bigger) room
    [ ] 1 Replica upstairs
    [ ] When you operate the crane 2 Replica spawn on the other side
    [ ] After the next checkpoint 3 Replica will enter the room on ground level
    [ ] Finally 6 more Replica in the outside areal

    Total kills: 25


    INTERVAL 03 - ESCALATION

    INFILTRATION

    [ ] Once you reach the first checkpoint and get out of the sewers, enter the building to find 2 Replica
    [ ] 2 More in the next room
    [ ] Climb up and go through the vent to get behind the fence. In the next room you will encounter 4 Replica
    [ ] In the room after the previous one (where you have to climb the ladder) there are 3 Replica to be found
    [ ] After the next checkpoint you get back outside and face another 6 Replica

    Total kills: 17

    HEAVY RESISTANCE

    [ ] 1 Replica in the small room to the left once you have climbed out of the hole in the floor
    [ ] When they way splits up take the left path. After the checkpoint 2 Replica will run along the catwalk above, 2 will be in the back of the room and another 2 will enter the room shortly after
    [ ] You will pass another checkpoint and get back outside where you find 6 Replica
    [ ] Still outside go around the corner into the next area to find 6 more Replica
    [ ] Once you raised the water level and passed the checkpoint, there will be 4 Replica on the catwalk above (1 patrolling, 2 rush in as soon as you enter the room and 1 after you have passed underneath the catwalk)
    [ ] Go into the next room and figh off another 5 Replica
    [ ] The next room will have 1 Replica on the catwalk above plus 2 Replica and 1 Heavy busting through the door
    [ ] Now comes a tricky part: Go through the door, past the flickering yellow light, around the corner to the left and with activated SlowMo around the corner to the right and shoot the 2 running Replica
    [ ] In the next room (the one with the water on the floor) there will be 1 Replica running along the catwalk above

    Total kills: 35

    BAD WATER

    [ ] After all the paranormal activities you will end up in thw room with the victim on the chair and get a checkpoint. After the lights go on 7 Replica will enter the room (5 on the upper level and 2 through the door on ground level)
    [ ] Go through the door on ground level and find 1 Replica
    [ ] In the next room there are another 6 Replica
    [ ] Now the way splits up several times so it's hard to keep track of the exact positions of the enemies. Just make sure that before you leave the large turbine room you have killed a total of 5 Replica
    [ ] You will pass a checkpoint and find yourself back in the room with the victim (but now on the upper level) where there are now 4 more Replica

    EXEUNT OMNES

    [ ] Once down in the sewers (past the trip mines) you have to face 3 Replica
    [ ] When you have climbed out of the sewers you will go down some stairs and pass through a room with another 4 Replica
    [ ] Outside again you will have to fight a total of 7 Replica (2 in the yard, 2 from the chopper and 3 will enter through the door on the other side)
    [ ] In the next room you face another 7 Replica and 1 Heavy
    [ ] You will come back outside and have to clear the landing zone for the chopper. In the area there are 8 Relica and 1 Heavy

    Total Kills: 31


    INTERVAL 04 - INFILTRATION

    LZ IS HOT

    [ ] Once you land on the rooftop you are immediately put in a fight against 7 Replica
    [ ] Enter the door and go past the checkpoint. There are 4 Replica in the next room (the one where you also find a health booster)
    [ ] Continue forward and you will get outside again. Before you reenter the building you should have killed 7 Replica along the way (their positions depend a little bit on whether they have been alerted or not)
    [ ] Inside the building again you will meet 3 Replica in the room with the reflex booster...
    [ ] ...and 2 more in the room after the previous one
    [ ] Go past the checkpoint and outside again to find the last 4 Replica of this section

    Total kills: 27

    WATCHERS

    [ ] After lots of paranormal activity you will pass a checkpoint and enter a big room. There are 3 assassins on the upper level
    [ ] Continue through the building and once you break through the ceiling you will find 2 more assassins
    [ ] Once you meet up with Norton Mapes follow the way until you reach a big hall with 4 Replica
    [ ] Continue through the door to find 3 more
    [ ] Open the security doors and continue on to the server room. On the way there you should come across 6 Replica
    [ ] Once you have rebooted the network 4 Replica will enter the room

    Total kills: 22


    INTERVAL 05 - EXTRACTION

    BISHOP

    [ ] Continue and kill the 4 Replica in the first office you come along (2 are on the higher level)
    [ ] In the next office there are another 2 Replica
    [ ] Go past the checkpoint and you will enter a room with 4 Replica
    [ ] You will find Bishop and get the order to secure the elevators. When you reach the elevators you have to kill 7 Replica and 1 Heavy until your team arrives
    [ ] Once you turned off the fire alarm and climbed across the balcony you will enter some part of the building which is still under construction. Continue along the path and you will enter a room with 5 Replica
    [ ] In the next room there will be another 3 Replica...
    [ ] ...and 3 more in the next room before you jump down
    [ ] Jump down to the lower level. In the next room there will be 4 Replica (1 on the upper level)
    [ ] Finally another 5 Replica in the next room (the one with the reflex booster on the upper level)

    Total kills: 38

    BLINDSIDE

    [ ] Step outside onto the roof and kill the 5 Replica there
    [ ] Continue along the roof to find another 4 Replica
    [ ] Reenter the building and kill the 5 Replica inside
    [ ] The next area is a little bit confusing. You see the helicopter with bishop take off while being under fire by ATC guards. Step onto the roof and kill the 5 ATC guards (2 on the roof on the other side)
    [ ] Once you step down the small staircase another 9 ATC guards can be found in the building in front of you (some will come onto the roof and some will stay inside)
    [ ] Jump to the roof below to find 2 more ATC guards
    [ ] Inside the building again you will come to a vent that you will have to use to pass a gap. On the other side there are the last 2 ATC guards. Important: Kill them before you jump down onto the vent as the vent will break when you try to cross it.
    [ ] Go past the leaking gas puzzle and restore the power. 2 Replica and one heavy will step out of the elevator.

    Total kills: 35


    INTERVAL 06 - INTERCEPTION

    SAYONARA, SUCKER

    [ ] Step out of the elevator and kill the 4 Replica
    [ ] After you meet Norton Mapes again you will go through a series of smaller labs until you encounter a group of 8 Replica in a big lab
    [ ] Continue until you enter again a smaller lab and kill the 2 Replica here...
    [ ] ...and the 2 in the next room
    [ ] Jump down and kill the 3 Replica on the balcony in front of you

    Total kills: 19

    UNAUTHORIZED PERSONNEL

    [ ] Once you encounter Norton Mapes destroy the turret which he will activate
    [ ] As you continue to chase Norton Mapes you come across 6 other turrets
    [ ] Continue past the checkpoint and you will meet 4 Replica (2 will jump through the window in the ceiling)
    [ ] Go past another checkpoint and kill the 4 Replica
    [ ] Now call the elevator and destroy the Mech that comes down with it
    [ ] After you passed the room filled with the toxic gas you come to the first turret section. There should be a total of 9 Replica in the office with the turret
    [ ] In the next room a body falls down and 5 Replica can be found on the upper level

    Total kills: 30

    AFTERIMAGE

    [ ] After a very short dream sequence you will encounter 3 ATC guards...
    [ ] ...and 3 more down the stairs
    [ ] In the next room there will be a battle between 3 ATC guards, 2 Replica and 1 Heavy
    [ ] Go past the next checkpoint and kill the 2 Replica at the end of the hallway. You can spot another 2 when you look out of the window to your right
    [ ] Continue along the offices to find 4 more Replica aswell as 1 Heavy
    [ ] Jump through the window into the courtyard and be ready to fight 5 Replica and 1 Mech
    [ ] Back inside the lights will go out and there will be another 3 Replica
    [ ] Continue into the next room, turn the lights back on and kill 2 more Replica

    Total kills: 32


    INTERVAL 7 - REDIRECTION

    ALICE WADE

    [ ] Once you climb up the elevator shaft continue onwards and you will enter a room with 4 Replica
    [ ] Go up the stairs and 2 more will enter the room on the other side
    [ ] Go to where the previous enemies came from and kill 4 more in the following office
    [ ] In the next hallway 2 Replica will run straight at you
    [ ] You will reach the switch to open thep security doors which is guarded by another 3 Replica
    [ ] Here you find the second turret section aswell. In total there are 10 Replica in the room with the turret
    [ ] Go through the next hallway to find 4 Replica and 1 Heavy
    [ ] Enter the next room and progress to the upper level. There should be 7 Replica around
    [ ] Once upstairs you enter an office with another 3 Replica
    [ ] You come across another slightly larger room which holds 5 Replica and 1 Heavy
    [ ] Proceed until you reach Alice Wade. Along the way should be 2 Replica aswell as yet another Heavy
    [ ] Escort Alice Wade to the elevator. Once you reach it you have to kill 3 Replica
    [ ] Elevator first stop: 2 Replica
    [ ] Elevator second stop: 3 Replica
    [ ] Elevator third stop: 3 Replica
    [ ] Get out of the elevator and restore the power. In the next room there are 5 Replica (3 on the upper level)

    Total kills: 65

    FLIGHT

    [ ] Step outside on the roof and kill the 4 Replica
    [ ] In the next room there are 6 Replica (2 will get out of the elevator once you reach the lower level)
    [ ] Continue through the rooms and hallways until you pass a checkpoint. Go up the stairs and destroy the 2 flying Drones
    [ ] Again the are 2 Drones in the next room
    [ ] Jump out onto the roof and kill another 2 Drones
    [ ] Back inside the building the next Drone will attack you
    [ ] Finally you end up in a room with the last 2 Drones and 3 Replica
    [ ] Enter the staircase and kill the 3 Replica inside
    [ ] Continue along the way and past Genevieve Aristide's office. A wall to the left will open and 4 Replica will attack you...
    [ ] ...followed by another 5 in the next room
    [ ] Parking garage G3: 4 Replica
    [ ] Parking garage G2: 5 Replica
    [ ] Parking garage G1: 3 Replica and 1 Heavy
    [ ] Now return to floor G3 to find 1 lonesome Replica

    Total kills: 48


    INTERVAL 08 - DESOLATION

    URBAN DECAY

    [ ] Inside the building go past the second checkpoint. Before you jump down make sure that you have killed the 5 Replica and 1 Heavy (2 Replica are on the other side of the hole)
    [ ] Jump down, bash through the door and kill another 3 Replica
    [ ] Continue into the next room and destroy the Mech that breaks through the ceiling
    [ ] You come into a room with a Type-7. In the next hallway there is a gap in the floor aswell as 2 Replica on the other side
    [ ] In the same hallway you can snipe 3 Replica in the building across the street
    [ ] Go out on the roof. There are 2 Replica on the roof of the building to the left...
    [ ] ...and 6 more inside the windows of the building across the other side of the area
    [ ] Continue along the roof and 3 Replica will step outside
    [ ] Enter the building again. Inside you will find a room with a health booster and 3 Relica. You can spot another 2 if you look out of the window

    Total kills: 31

    POINT OF ENTRY - PART 1

    [ ] Outside again continue through the alleys onto the street where there will be 5 Replica
    [ ] Enter the building. A truck with 4 Replica will crash through the gate. In additions there are 3 Replica and 1 Heavy outside the building
    [ ] Jump over the fence and evade the truck. Inside the building you have to kill 8 Replica (6 jump through the windows or come through the door)

    Total kills: 21

    POINT OF ENTRY - PART 2

    [ ] Continue into the big room. There are 7 Replica in total, some spawn as soon as you climb to higher levels
    [ ] Jump down and you will come to a room with 4 Replica and 1 Heavy
    [ ] When you try to get to higher level 2 more Replica and another Heavy will enter the room
    [ ] In the next hallway there will be 3 Replica
    [ ] You will then come to a small secret hangar with 2 Elites in it
    [ ] Continue past the checkpoint and you will enter a bigger hall with a gap in the middle where you have to climb several stairs. As you do so a total of 4 assassins will attack you
    [ ] You will get out of the street again where there are 2 ATC guards and 2 Mechs fighting each other
    [ ] Now enter the warehouse on the other side of the street and kill the 4 ATC guards. Warning: There are an additional 2 ATC guards in front of the secret door but they won't spawn every time! If they did not spawn try exiting the warehouse and reentering it until they do!

    Total kills: 34


    INTERVAL 09 - INCURSION

    LAPDOG

    [ ] Step out of the elevator and destroy the turret. Another turret is down the hallway
    [ ] Continue until you reach a checkpoint and kill the 6 ATC guards on the higher level
    [ ] In the next room there will be another 5 ATC guards
    [ ] Drop down into the server room where Norton Mapes previously was. You are now on the higher level, together with 3 new ATC guards
    [ ] Go into the room with the reflex booster and destroy the turret
    [ ] Now you have to be fast again: Exit the room and around the corner you will see 2 ATC guards running away and a barrel explode in front of them
    [ ] Enter the next room and destroy another turret
    [ ] After that you will now enter a room with a spiral staircase and 3 more ATC guards...
    [ ] ...followed by a lab with 4 ATC guards
    [ ] Go down the stairs and kill the 2 ATC guards that await you
    [ ] Around the corner you will find another 3 ATC guards. Try to snipe them from relatively far away, then go around the corner to the left and quickly kill the ATC guard before the gate closes
    [ ] When you stand in front of the closed gate go to the left and quickly around the right corner. Again dispatch of the ATC guard before the gate is closed
    [ ] After the checkpoint climb down the ladder and kill the ATC guard. Around the corner to the left you will find another ATC guard
    [ ] Go through the long tunnel, duck under the pipe and kill the ATC guard there
    [ ] Continue past the leaking gas pipe and ducker under another big one to meet another 2 ATC guards

    Total kills: 39

    BYPASS

    [ ] After Norton Mapes tells you to redirect the current, go down the hallway and take the right ladder. Turn around to the right and kill the 4 Elites
    [ ] Once you activate the yellow generator follow the new path to a room with 3 Elites
    [ ] Continue through a series of rooms until you reach a big one with 5 Elites in it
    [ ] After activating the blue generator you have to pass through a room with 3 Drones
    [ ] Go through the next series of corridors and rooms until you activate the red generator. In the next room there will be 2 Elites
    [ ] Back in the room with the Vault entrance destroy the last 3 Drones

    Total kills: 20


    INTERVAL 10 - REVELATION

    THE VAULT

    [ ] Once you kill Fettel there will be 3 standbying Elites in the next room

    INTERVAL 11 - RETALIATION

    ElectifriedI would like to point out that the 3rd set of robots on the second part of Interval 7 don't spawn if you go onto the roof through the right broken window, so be sure to go through the left broken window instead.

    Damascus THQWhile going through the Extreme play through I thought I would go for this one as well. The last two on point of entry I missed on my other attempts.

    This achievement did pop for me on the last set of ghosts in before the ending.

    ROGERBABYFinally unlocked it on my fourth attempt today! I deleted all my save files, cleared my cache and followed this guide and unlocked it during one of the ghost sequences early on in Interval 11. Thank you for the great guide.

    Helg0r (through GYRgadget) provides an excellent guide, so please consider this merely a supplement to it. I would have added this as a comment under that guide but it seems important enough to merit inclusion as a "separate" guide. (I will take negative votes to mean that you disagree and that I should remove it, which I will do if there are a substantial number of such votes.)

    Though the achievement says you must "Kill every enemy in the Campaign", this is not strictly true. You must kill enough enemies. How many is enough? At this time nobody knows, but as I followed Helg0r's guide I found the second to last description in Blindside to be confusing and missed those two ATC guards. (Key: if you fall in the water without killing those two guards, you went too far.) Since the main purpose of that run for me was the No Juice achievement I went ahead and completed it, following the guide and killing everything anyway just for practice. I killed every other enemy on the list except for one of the guards fleeing the exploding barrel in Lapdog. Even though I missed those three enemies, after the final set of ghosts in Interval 11 Exterminator popped.

    Others have reported similar results. Some have failed to kill the guards behind the security gates and still gotten the achievement. Others have left a turret or two unmolested and still been treated to that sweet popping sound.

    Bottom line: add Exterminator to one of your other runs and keep trying for it even if you missed an enemy or two. It turns out that you do not, in fact, have to kill every single enemy in the game. Good luck to you.

    YoshiMiyamotoThis is solution is definitely true - it just popped for me and I know for a fact that there were at least two enemies that I missed over the course of the campaign. For maximum efficiency I would recommend going for this on an easy playthrough in which you try not to die, don't use slo-mo, and collect all intel/boosters.

    spxyu02Just popped it using Helg0r's guide, and to add to what has been posted here: I am 100% positive I missed both gate closing agents in Lapdog, but it still popped for me in Chapter 11 while killing ghosts in a basement area. (Also, I was very hit-or-miss on the ghosts throughout the game)

    Just want to add to this already good guide. To a point, Ghosts do count. I think it might be a certain % of ghosts killed because when my achievement popped, I had just killed 4 or 5 ghosts. I was at the end of the game where there are no more soldiers, just ghosts.

    GsA UnReaLiZeghosts do count when u actually making progress in the campaign, not by reloading a chapter because then it wont save your data.
