If you aim to surpass these scores you'll nail this achievement, it shouldn't cause too much trouble for the more pro players, but if you're struggling make sure you're using star power in the best places, these are normally the heavily corded areas and such. Play with which ever guitar controller you feel most comfortable with, personally I use my GH:M controller and lastly don't be afraid to use the Hyperspeed cheat.
On the main menu (the one which lists career, quickplay etc) press; "Blue, Orange, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Orange, Yellow, Yellow."

Thank you to http://scorehero.com for the superb listing of cut off points, I hope they help other guitar hero players as much as they've helped me.

Want an easy way out and don't got the required skills or time. Need to beat hard 5 star every song?. Well no need to fear, with this achievement video you will be able to play expert on medium difficulty and only play 5-10 seconds each song. Enjoy

Eric FiltroThis is absolutely perfect. Excellent exploit. It works on every difficulty and every song, Career and Quickplay. Just make sure you are using a wired guitar for the "unplug" part and try to unplug it right at the very end of the last chord of the verse. It helps if you count the bars (lines) so you know exactly when to unplug. +1

Draygon ukI tried this method and ended up with 4 gold stars?????
I had 4 stars on this particular track before I did this glitch, can I still get 5 stars or have I broken it?
