This is story related and unmissable. Though if you make a mistake you get a couple of tries. Instead of lives you get "Caf-Pows" as your chances.

Simple enough, you get the evidence on the left with markers and a few slides on the right. starting at the top of the examples, click to load one and compare the points of interest with the evidence. With a match, click onto the evidence, hold and drag it overtop of the sample the press LT to match.

Actions

This occurs during the story and cannot be missed.

During the Atlantic City case, you'll gain control of Abby.
During this time, you'll have two options of which evidence to process.
Pick the right most one to process comparisons.
You should have completed lifting the fingerprints from (which is the left most evidence processing choice).

Several fingerprints will show to the right.
Click on the one that you think will best fit your match.
When you think you've got it, click on and drag your lifted fingerprint onto the database copy.
You may (and probably will) pull the Left Trigger to rotate the fingerprint.
When you've got it perfectly matched, the whole side will light green.

You need to progress through the case first so here's a WT

Crime Scene 1 – The Vault
The first case begins in a crime scene at a casino, There is one weapon, nine bulletholes with laser emitters, two victims, two footprints and one set of fingerprints to photo in the crime scene.
Following the room going around to the left:
-Target the gun on the floor to take a photo of it. The gun is where you begin, which is next to the first victim's body. [Weapon 1/1]

-Target the 2 bullet holes to the left of the first victim, take a picture. [Bulletholes 2/9]
-Take a picture of the first victim, Melvin Farley (In the security guard uniform) [Victims 1/2]
-Select the light switch to the left of the grey door and take a picture of the fingerprints. [Fingerprints 1/1]
-Take a picture of the bullethole in the brown wall. [Bulletholes 3/9]
-Take a picture of the white footprints in front of the brown wall. [Footprints 1/2]
-Take a picture of the white footprints in front of the hole in the wall. [Footprints 2/2]
-Select the hole in the brown bookcase to trigger a co-op activity to reveal a bullethole.

-Take a picture of the newly revealed bullethole. [Bulletholes 4/9]
-Walk towards the screen to see the second victim, Dustin Johnson. Take a picture of Dustin Johnson. [Victims 2/2]
Duck will now ask you to help him move Melvin's body
-Select Melvin Farley to move him to reveal another bullet hole, this triggers a co-op activity.
-Take a picture of the newly revealed bullethole. [Bulletholes 5/9]
Walk back around the room to the left till you reach a wooden chair
-Select the chair to move it under the light.
-Select the chair again to climb and then take a picture of the bullethole in the light. [Bulletholes 6/9]
-Take a picture of the 3 bulletholes in the brown wall to the left of the light. [Bulletholes 9/9]
There will be a cutscene and will be asked to install the laser emitters, going around the room to the right:
-Click on the 3 bulletholes above the first victim, Melvin Farley to install the laser emitters. [Laser emitters 4/9]
-Click on the 3 bulletholes in the brown wall. [Laser emitters 7/9]
-Click on the bullethole in the light. [Laser emitters 8/9]
-Click on the bullethole to the left of the bookcase you moved earlier. [Laser emitters 9/9]

You are now in an interview with the security guard, during interviews you need to press

at key moments which are indicated on the screen by the prompt, you can either mash

or time it right.

In the office
You will be taken back to the office:
-Select the computer on your right (Flashing mouse icon)
-Click and drag the 'Casino Rivalry' evidence to the blue box in the middle.
-Click confirm and you will have your first hacking task, press the keys in sequence as they light up. The code is 561 but the position the numbers show up in is random.
-Click 'Criminal Record' and drag the only item 'Crime: Tax Evasion' to the blue square on the right.

You will still be in the computer:
-Drag the first victim 'Dustin Johnson' to the blue box
-Click confirm and you will have a different hacking task, here you must memorise the symbols and the order they appear, again they are random but simple.
-Click 'Employment Records' and drag 'U.S. Navy - Honorably Discharged' to the box on the right.
-Drag the second victim 'Melvin Farley' to the blue box
-Click confirm and you will have another different hacking game that involves selecting colour symbols. The sequence you need will be displayed at the top, click each symbol that matches the sequence in order.
-Click 'Employment Records' and drag 'Lucky Card Casino' to the box on the right.
In Abby's Lab
Walk to and select the evidence table in the centre of the room
-Click and drag the evidence 'Fingerprints on Light Switch' to the blue box
-Click confirm and you will begin the fingerprint lifting minigame, Push the

and press

to start. Push the

and press

once the tape is fully off the evidence.

-Click and drag the evidence '.357 Pistol' to the blue box
-Click confirm and complete the fingerprint lifting minigame
Walk to and select the work area to the right of the evidence table
-Click and drag the first piece of evidence 'Unidentified Fingerprints on Pistol' to the blue box
-You will now begin the fingerprint matching minigame, select the print from the list of matches on the right that matches the print you have (Your evidence is on the left) Once you have found your match click and drag your evidence over the sample, use

to rotate the print till the edges of your screen turn green. (First match)
