How to unlock the Tower Defense achievement

If you're here, I bet you're expecting some spoilers, but I'll spare you.

At the end of mission 13 ("The Belgian Problem"), you'll have a choice between blowing up and saving the tower. Each choice garners an achievement.

You can save at this junction or right before the mission—the save won't load mission progress, so it'll kick you back to your crib before you activate the mission. Go back and do it again for the other achievement.

Saving the tower (this achievement) adds a permanent 10% cash bonus on all future income.
Blowing up the tower (the other achievement) adds a permanent 10% respect bonus (on all future respect).

If you're going for the achievements, you'll probably be in more need of cash than respect. That's the route I went.

And Pitbull, as far as I recall, it doesn't become a new crib. I could be wrong, though.

Subtle VillainyI missed this on my first play-through (chose the other option) and didn't leave any saves. So I started a new game to get this achievement; somehow managing to completely miss this achievement despite fulfilling the criteria.

I got it on my second try though; all I did differently was watch the cut-scenes and wait for the "Mission Complete" stuff to finish animating before buttoning through. So make sure to save before (or during) the mission so you don't have to replay the first act of the game more than once. If you save during the mission the mission progress isn't saved and you'll be able to start the mission from the beginning if, like me, you miss the achievement you wanted.

AldangaYou should probably clarify which decision this achievement actually requires.

MaskedMan13If you're like me and didn't missed this achievement and have to start a new game, this took me almost exactly 1.5 hours.

I skipped cutscenes and ran (drove) straight from mission to mission. I was playing on casual and moving through as quick as I could.
