Alduins wall is a Main storyline quest, and as such is unmissable if you play the main story.

The quest itself features 2 puzzles, none of them are too much trouble..

Puzzle 1 - A pillar moving puzzle, there will be 3 pillars next to each other, simply rotate the pillars until they display the symbol that is already on the pillar to the far right, the dragonborn symbol. MEMORIZE THIS SYMBOL.

Puzzle 2 - This is a room full of tiles, the only way to avoid setting off the trap, is to step on the tiles that have the dragonborn symbol from puzzle 1 displayed on them.

Chemist NLPuzzle 2 was bugged when I crossed it......There was no trap for me when I hit the wrong tiles, I just ran in the room and went to the next room, easy for me :-)

ElandiraIf you hurry up after puzzle 1 you can cross puzzle 2 without the wrong tiles triggering the fire. Just hurry up and activate the chain to deactivate the trap and lower the drawbridge.

G3n CarthI found it simple to use the dragon shout that lets you speed across the room. I turned off the trap before a single shot could hit me.

I just wanted to add that a guy named Esbern will follow you some point throughout the quest. Once he is following you, it is a good time to do side quests and other non-story achievements, because Esbern is very powerful, invincible, and will follow you until you progress further into the main quest.
