A Den Defence is where you have to place Assassins on the roofs and buildings to kill off waves of enemies. The First Den Defence you will encounter is in Sequence 2 Memory 6. The game will provide you will the instructions of how to play. I would suggest focusing on having an upgraded barrier at the beginning of where the enemies assault from, and when you can, place Rifle Assassins on every spot you can on both sides of the roof. This will be easy up until you have to destroy the ramming device that the enemy bring down. At this time you will want to place another barrier behind the first and upgrade if it possible. You will be prompted to use the cannon in game, but make sure you DON'T use it.

Tips: Make sure you loot the enemies on the ground by pressing cn_B, also you can shoot the enemies yourself by targeting them and holding cn_X. Finally, don't be shy on spending Morale, you will get plenty of it. Well that's it gamers good luck and make sure you kill them all before they get to far else it won't be a perfect run :)

SG CodSteaksI know I didn't use the cannon on this first den defense sequence, but I didn't get the achievement. I also couldn't quite stop the battering ram at the end until it had broken the last barrier and already done some damage to my tower, so I'm assuming that doesn't count as a "perfect den defense". Might seem obvious to some, but it didn't occur to me right away until I read the achievement description closer, so you may want to mention that your tower can't take any damage in order to qualify as a perfect den defense.

There is a very easy method to get this achievement.

During Sequence 2 Memory 6 you will be given the first Den Defence attempt and as its your first time doing it the game gives you a tutorial of sorts.
You can replay from the DNA menu if you have done the memory already

When the memory begins you will be asked to place an assassin leader on the roof opposite you and in front of you, you will then be asked to place an archer unit on the roofs, do this until you are asked to place a barricade. AT THIS POINT DO NOTHING just leave the game running and you will see your morale will continue to build up BUT no enemies will come until the barricade is placed.

This will be a good time to plug your controller into your console using a micro USB cable (batteries out first) to keep your controller on as you will need to leave it idling for roughly 20-30minutes

Now leave the game here until you have built up around 500-600 morale (just so you have too much) you are now free to build the barricade which will resume the waves of enemies.

Upgrade the barricade after you have built it and then build more along the path, do so at every point you can to maximise your use which is 4 self built barricades and the last one which is pre built BUT can be upgraded like the rest. Now look at the roofs at the back and place leaders on those too, after wave 4 you will unlock riflemen.

Riflemen will be your main unit to place from now on so begin filling every space on the roofs you can with riflemen, and pressing cn_Y over archers to dismiss them so you can replace them with riflemen. You can also place riflemen behind the barricades.

The battering ram will show up at wave 19, remember you can also shoot the enemies yourself by holding cn_X whilst the rectile is over them to help speed things up.

The battering ram may break through a few barricades but it wont make it to the end.

DO NOT PRESS cn_LB AT ANY TIME AS THIS FIRES THE CANNON

Gilbert Prime200 morale was plenty for my attempt. I upvoted this solution but as is often the case on TA a newer more efficient method never gets to take the lead over an inferior one that was posted first. The guide above this one has nearly twice the votes despite being not much more than a repetition of what the game and achievement tells you to do.

Iceman2pnt0This solution is fool-proof, though I agree with others that 250 is plenty to get this done. Thumbs up from me
