The CobbmeisterNo. The final event is easier. Crucial parts on the event are:
Bridge go as fast as you can, select bonnet view and keep the car in the middle of the white line and break heavy before the turn.
Tains on entry dift 3 seperate times to miss the first main left corner so you dont smash in the wall. Move over to the opposite track and boost on the right had bend alternate between drift and boost follow the tracks and try not to hit the wall. Long left corner in th building site drift 3 seperate times to get round without hitting anything. These are the main places where you can gain time.

DarkZazinThis is still possible to achieve even though it's not possible to get the "Porsche 918 RSR" anymore. I completed "Live Free or Drive Hard" with the "Pagani Zonda Cinque" but it was really hard. Took me plenty of tries.

fishdudedkLive free or die hard is impossible with the 3 cars you can still pick lmao. The best i could do was 4.3 whole seconds off.

Since Live Free or Drive Hard and The Final Event are the two to cause the most aggravation for players, I found these two YouTube videos that help immensely. Both are platinum times, but if you watch them, you can get a very good idea for how to tackle any problem areas you may have. I looked at the speeds the player was carrying though corners, as well as about what time you want to hit certain sections at to give yourself the best shot at gold on those two events.

DonkeyBong71i watched the video for Live Free Or Die Hard, with eyebrow raised it has to be said. no way could i get the Nissan go round the corners like that! best time i could do was 2.25. so i played multiplayer til i unlocked the Porsche, like what Kornfan2007 says, and did 2.19.77 for gold on my 3rd try.

Seija KessenIt's less about using the GTR and more about figuring out the speeds with which to take corners. I actually did the gold with the GTR for Live Free or Die Hard.

o0EviIToaster0oWith at least 15-20 attempts, this did not help, the closest I've gotten is 2:22. Guess it's time to grind out some Multiplayer Objectives...

I got gold using mostly different cars to kornfan2007 so if you're looking for alternatives try these

The jersey double back: Porsche 918 RSR
    The situation: Lamborghini aventador
    Drive hard: Audi R8
Drive hard with a vengeance: Lamborghini aventador (8s under platinum time on first attempt!)
Live free or drive hard: Porsche 918 RSR (credit to kornfan for that one)
The final event: McLaren F1 (no choice)

If you give this solution a negative vote please say why in a comment so I can improve it!

LuckyKantDie hard with a vengeance doesn’t have an Aventador. Diablo SV, Murcielago (bonus wheel) and Elemento (Level 30) are the only Lambos. -1
