You must complete all villain missions in a single game: The Orb, Death Race, Mephisto, Scarecrow, and Zadkiel. You can fail a mission on the way to Zadkiel (the "wizard mode") and complete it after the wizard mode to get the achievement.

    Individual villain completions:
The Orb: Complete lit outside loop shots (also indicated on the DMD). The Orb will blast the ball with his laser if it is in the middle of the playfield.

Death Race: Complete skill shots from the plunger from bottom to top within the time limit. Note that the right ramp will lead back to the plunger.

Scarecrow: Complete lit outside loop shot, followed by hitting a bumper (by hitting either loop) and repeat until the crows pick up the ball. At that point, use the shotgun to blast the crows which will complete the mission and initiate multiball.

Mephisto: Hit the lit ramps. This mission is complicated because Mephisto will at times say "My Turn!" which means that he takes control of the flipper and makes a shot (sometimes more than once in a row). Do not flip after he says this or you will lose a hit. Simply keep alternating ramp shots apart from the above condition and eventually you'll get him, though this mission is more likely than others to require a repeated try to get the achievement.

Zadkiel (wizard mode): Hit the lit loop to get the ball in the Pit. When it comes out it will be on fire for a few seconds. Hit the left ramp while it's on fire to score a hit on Zadkiel. Repeat 3 times to complete the mode. You'll have to complete this mode before going back to the other villains to, if necessary, finish any missions you may have failed.

ETA: Also, note that if you're about to fail Zadkiel and you want the achievement more than you want the points from keeping your ball in play, let the ball drain and you can reactivate the mode for another try. The other missions can be repeated over and over as long as they are not the last mission before Zadkiel

BabbylonianGood note and I've done it a couple times, but it's a dangerous option since the ball often comes off at an angle, potentially adding a lot of time before getting the ball to drain. There's a short grace period after the ball save stops flashing but relying on the grace period is very risky. Also, you get the most practice hitting the top hole anyway, so it should be the easiest shot.

BabbylonianYes, every shot is risky, but some shots I don't consider worth the risk. Any strategy that requires a drain - even when the ball save is flashing - would fall into that category.

I still think it's a valid option. It's just not to my taste. :)

p0iz0nedLoL joe, that's what I normally do to finish the Death Race as I believed the machine was fighting also. Also a tip for Mephisto is when he says "My Turn", I hit the machine with my left Joy when the ball is positioned on the flipper to hit the Stunt Ramp for the next Hit on Mephisto giving him another hit, while preventing the drain.

Otherwise I believe this is the easiest table in the game as you can almost get unlimited Extra Balls with little effort through Super Skill Shots. The 2 Lane Kickbacks are also easy to light up with little effort (Video Mode just requires 3 full loops, and the kickback is 2 hits from the edge of your right flipper). Extra Balls at will, almost guarantees victory on this table.

XI AlphaMale IXIf you fail Zadkiel, does the table reset where you have to "complete" the other four missions over again? I'm guessing that's what the last paragraph is getting at, but I'm not sure.

BabbylonianAlphaMale: It's only been nearly a year since you asked your question but, yes, if you let the Zadkiel mission fail while the ball continues in play, all mission progress is reset. If the ball instead drains before the mission is over, you can then reactivate Zadkiel without going through the other missions.

The thing is, though, that you don't have to actually win the earlier missions to get to Zadkiel. So, to me, the only reason to force the immediate Zadkiel repeat is if you've already succeeded in the other 4 villain missions and only want the achievement. I could never do that myself because it's pinball, and pinball is all about the score. smile
