The Bloody Palace is easily the least challenging iteration so far in the Devil May Cry series. So for the straight up achievement hunters who want quick points with quick results, be greatful this palace doesn't have 9999 floors like DMC3 had.

The Palace has only one truly difficult level (floor 85) and that's due to fighting two Blitz's at the same time. The rest of the floors are pretty standard if you understand/learn the game.

Things to note:
- You can blow through the floors and get each level achievement easily with the Super Characters, but you will not S rank the palace.

- Use Nero, his Devil Bringer is a win button against most enemies. The snatch ability can keep you in the air and enable you to clear a room full of enemies with ease.

- Map the fire button to the right trigger. This way you can easily charge your gun to level 3 while you fight. Utilise this often every time you knock an enemy away. A direct hit with a level 3 charge with always increase your stylish rank.

- Save your devil trigger for when you're struggling. This way you won't rely on it's offensive/defensive capabilities.

- Only enemies on screen will attack, so use the camera to your advantage. You can literally run laps charging your gun with the camera focused on the horizon and spam level 3 charge shots.

- The first instances of the Jump have some invulnerability frames. So if you learn enemy attacks and jump the second they are about to hit you, you will take no damage. This is especially useful against bosses. Learn this and you won't get hit. An easier I-frame to time is activating your Devil trigger - the entire animation before you can move again, is pure immortality.

The final floor is a one on one fight with Dante. His a.i is set to Dante Must Die difficulty and a lot of people have trouble with this fight, but if you know what you're doing, he's a big baby. There are two things that are worth noting: NEVER attack Dante when he uses the Royal Guard style, buster his tit's off.

And finally, to loop Dante get a little distance from him then try and snatch him. He will always evade this on DMD by either rolling sideways, or jumping, but the instance he recovers he will stinger directly at you. The stinger is legendary and very fast, but you can catch him with your Devil bringer. So snatch, watch for the evade, he immediately stingers, before he hits you B and you smash him into the ground. Repeat ad nauseum.
