Go for this achievement last. You need to know what to expect and if you just jump in blindly, you won't do well at all. I suggest you finish the game on an easier level with three of the characters and then use the fourth so you can earn this and the Like Taking Candy from a Bab achievement at the same time.

When you start the game, put it on the Japanese mode. This grants more weapons than in the American mode, and it also allows your health to go above 100%. Whenever possible grab the hammer, broom, or slingshot because they tend to destroy most (if not all) non-boss enemies with one hit.

Do not approach enemies head on. It is best to approach them from above or below as enemies cannot attack vertically. Approach one vertically and try to hit them before they hit you. I advice that you do not use the jump + attack combination too often on non-bosses; while it's nice to have a one-hit kill, there are too many instances where the game just doesn't register that you're connecting. This is especially true when attacking the zombies, who always manage to hit me while my attack goes right through them. IMO it's a lot easier to get this and Mr. Sparkles if you walk up to non-bosses and hit them regularly.

You *do* want to use the jump + attack combo against all bosses except Mr. Smithers. Go above them, come down and attack, go to the bottom and then quickly back to the top and repeat. If you stay at the top, the boss will also stay at the top which makes it much easier for them to hit you. With Smithers, I suggest just walking up to him and hitting him with your character's basic attack.

This is probably easier with other players, but I cannot verify that as I did it by myself. I think a few more enemies may spawn with more players, but I don't believe it will add so many that it makes it harder that way.

Tips: When you destroy Mr. Burns' treadmills and he develops a bottom that looks like a raft, try to trap him against the wall and just use your basic attack until he's almost dead. I played him on expert twice and was able to chip away almost all of his armor by just standing in place and hitting the X button. Eventually he'll start moving around and I resorted to using AX at the same time.

If you're playing by yourself, eat food as soon as you see it. In the American mode, you usually want to wait until you've taken some damage so food doesn't get wasted, but in the Japanese mode your health goes above 100 so eat it before you forget about it and leave it behind.
