I couldn't get this using the Battle Cry Mode Modifier method noted above (not knocking it, just wasn't working for me). Instead, I turned on the Lazy Mode Modifier which causes your enemies to start and stop, and your bullets to fall to the ground once they reach the top of the screen. I got it on the second try using this method (I died on my first attempt on wave 7) with some general tips on ways to maintain a high accuracy.

For the first 3-4 waves, I would say do single tap shots as the number of enemies is relatively low. Now even doing this method, some of your shots are bound to miss since you have two guns. [I CANNOT verify if the game counts each individual gun as a shot, but I had most of my turrets alive by wave 8 and still got it.] When the ships come horizontally across the screen, try to efficiently hit as many as you can (again with single shots). If your shots miss at first, wait for them to fall back down and possibly hit an enemy before shooting again. I would say to only shoot on these sections when you know both of your turrets will hit something.

Now beginning on wave 5, the enemies start coming faster and in more numbers. At this point, I would say single tap when practical, but if things get hectic, do steady bursts and just focus your fire into crowds as much as possible, and hopefully any missed shots will hit enemies on the way back down. If you begin to get overrun, don't hesitate to use your Overdrive. The wave 5 boss should help with accuracy, as it is big enough to take shots from all of your guns without having any stray bullets.

Waves 6 and 7 were difficult for me, because those stupid small ships are hard as hell to hit, but can cause trouble. Again, do steady bursts when needed, and wait for your shots to fall back down before firing again (if safe to do so). Once I got to wave 8, I fired a couple shots and let the enemies destroy my remaining turrets. The cheevo did not pop up right away; I had to exit to the main menu and it popped a second later.

Note: Just to clarify, the Lazy Mode modifier was the only modifier I had activated when I did this. If you try to use the Battle Cry Mode as well, your bullets will only go about as high as your shield level.
