For this achievement, at the beginning of the game when you are prompted with the message that it is sometimes easier to run from enemies than fight them, you will need to run down the left-side of the road towards the motel (look for the lights and giant motel sign in the distance).
The achievement will unlock once you enter the motel grounds.
