There is a place in Oil Field Nightmare Arcade Level
where you can jump on a rock at the side of the map, i would recommend taking flare gun cross bow and a magnum with few flares. It is VERY easy to get on top of it and the taken cannot hit you.

--It may take a few tries before you get good at jumping on it, but its not hard at all--

Next step is to kill off the enemies until you see a taken witch throws those bombs [DO NOT KILL HIM] he usually stays in good distance - then just sit tight and wait for your achievement to pop.

What happens is all the enemies keep stacking up in front of you and the guy keeps killing them with bombs, note that you get streak bonus + points when he kills them and more he kills more you get!

Note that this will only work in Nightmare Arcade Level

@Chief Tinker, this is on Nightmare difficulty, they just keep coming at you. There are no waves.

Yeah they definitely seem to be coming in at waves, unless you kill the last person no one else keeps coming.

Absolutely ridiculous. Every time I try this method the grenade guy spawns to the right of the spot and within the first 2 grenades it always hits. Makes the 6 min restriction impossible.

Just uploading an HD version of o IBaDxPiLoTI o 's exploit on the nightmare map oil field which can net you a very high score and the achievements Poetry in Motion 20(GS) and Survivor 30(GS) very easily, Please note as seen in the vid you can still randomly be hit but as i said that's random and please make sure your all the way on the rock and as for the grenadier who comes please keep him to the center if possible by blinding him with your flashlight after every grenade or two really depends on what he is doing.

This seems to have worked for me, but the achievement still hasn't popped. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I get well over 100K points, I get a survivor streak of close to 6:30, but still nothing. Is there something else I should do? Do I need to hit 100K while still having my no-hit streak?

This ended up being the solution for me, but due to grenade RNG it took me 5 tries

What the heck. I got over 6:00 survivor streak and 110K points, but no achievement! I even have the screenshot to prove it!! >:(

Update: Okay, apparently I misinterpreted the achievement requirements. It is not good enough to just score over 100,000 points and have a "longest undamaged streak" of over 6:00 in the same run of a level. You have to get 100K points while on a 6 minute streak. If you get hit at all, your "undamaged streak score" and streak timer both get reset to zero. What I think I'd probably done the first time was get a 6 minute no-hit streak (while only scoring 30K or so points), then getting to 100K in the remaining four minutes, but while also taking damage in those last four minutes. This makes it so on the summary screen, your score could be over 100K and your "undamaged streak" could be longer than 6 minutes, without you actually having fulfilled the achievement requirements.

This is my take on the Poetry in Motion achievement. I tried many many times before finally getting a nice strategy down. Using various tactics from other guides helped to form my plan of attack.

Map is Oil Fields. As you will see in the video, I pick up enough flares, flashbangs and flare gun ammo to make surviving the later stages very easy. While doing this, I build a x6 multiplier. Why no x9? Simple. It wastes too much time.

You see, in my testing, I found that killing the taken too fast means you end up overwhelmed in the last 2 minutes, making keeping your streak much harder. However, in building a x9 multiplier, you make your time tight with which to get the score. It is very possible but at the loss of picking up the survival items.

I use the light source on the map as a shield to my right thus meaning I only need to defend the front and left side. Very rarely a taken will spawn where you stand but you should be able to spot him quickly and flash him with your torch. If you think for even one second you're going to take damage, use a flare. We have plenty so don't be afraid to use them.

If everything has timed right, you'll have a massive wave of enemies in the last few seconds so all you need to do is pop those flares, throw those flashbangs and use your flare gun till the sun rises and you will get a mass of points whilst making the survival much more bearable.

Hopefully the video gives you some tips and helps show where the most important items are. Enjoy.

I wouldn't call this Iron Clad or anything, but I seem to get this lamp to light on the 3rd or 4th round, but only if I've started the level from the arcade menu. If I choose "Restart Arcade" after failing the achievement, it won't light up ever.

oh man... 10 minutes are long... especially if you fail. i got hit with 0 seconds remaining. ~_~

i managed it somehow... without the light as shield. its a very good method, but in many rounds the lamp didnt light up for me and i didnt figure out why.

one round a lamp light up and i stand directly! under it... another round i stand nearby the flashbang in front of the lamp in the video and the lamp light up.... maybe it has nothing to do with your position.

anyway: thank you for this solution! =)

Great guide, thumbs up! Got this last night and wanted to add some input regarding the light source. You should fight off the first two waves (after getting your multiplier up to 6 or 7) at the site where the oil rig and ammo box are. If you fight them off around there, the light source seems to always turn on during the 3rd wave. I was having the same issues with it never coming on but it's because I was right next to it the entire time.

Another thing that really helps is that if you're about to finish a later round and you have less than a minute left. There really is no point in starting the next wave too soon. The sun will do the work for you and give you a huge bonus. I had around a minute left with one guy left on the map, so I just went to him and dodged him multiple times to get my multiplier to 9. With about 20 seconds left I killed him. The next wave loaded up with around 5 seconds left on the clock. Just don't get hit and your end bonus will be insane because the sun will wipe out everyone at the 9 multiplier level. I had about 85k when I did this, and finished the level just over 130k.
