How to unlock the Pyromaniac achievement

Equip Inferno Ammo in the multiplayer and play a match. When I did this, every kill (including kills from other players) counted towards the achievement and it unlocked about wave 6. Couldn't be easier.

ShilohCyanIf you picked a class that doesn't have this power, start a new game.
I recommend re-importing an ME2 save. ME3 NG+ won't allow you to change class, and a new character won't have enough points to be sufficiently powerful. importing from ME2 will allow a class change with points to spare.

Choose Engineer or Infiltrator. Choosing Warp Ammo as a bonus power won't hurt. Invest all your points in incinerate, focusing on decreasing cooldown time. Invest your remaining points in Tech Mastery to further decrease your cooldowns.

All you have to do is keep hitting the husks, narrative difficulty is fine. Once they stop spawning, proceed until Anderson helps the marines in cover. YOU have to back away from cover and never re enter it again, and just keep hitting the batarian husks. Helps if the power is bound to one of the bumpers.

That's it! I got it in 11 minutes. Worst part was sitting through the opening cutscene.

Alternatively, if you do not play as a Shepard with Inferno Ammo or Incinerate, you can still earn this achievement by mixing squad powers with your own to cause fire damage to the enemy.

This has been achieved by me using an Adept Shepard and using singularity and then throwing the warp power at them.

I got this achievement by playing as a Sentinel. At the beginning of the game, with the husks, about 10+ climb the wall. I just spammed Warp and reloaded the save. Less than 10 reloads for it to pop.

BlinkFandangoIIYes, it does. I am playing through as Sentinel and the counter goes up when I use Warp. I think it may only be on synthetic enemies though, not sure. This probably isn't the fastest way to get this achievement, but if you're playing through as Sentinel, it works.
