RV-6A Landing Master

This achievement can be hard if you haven't mastered the art of "landing" or it can simply be easy. Now, to achieve this achievement you will have to earn gold on all six RV-6A challenges, sounds easy right?
Well, assuming you have tried other challenges than you already know that you get graded on a Soft Landing, Side Skid, and Runway Centerline. Each are worth 500 points for a total of 1,500 points, but you only need 1,450 points to ace the challenge. Like any other challenge, worry about the "soft landing" since the other two are pretty much a giveaway. Don't forget to "full flaps" by pressing the F6 key and a roughly 12 - 15% throttle and for your approaching speed it can be as low as 80 - 90kts. Also, remember to pull up a little to prevent from descending too fast. I was able to land this bad-boy at a 112kts and still earn a perfect gold score, so if I can do it, so can you.
Anyways, challenges 1 through 4 are easy to land since you have a clear visible  look at the runway, but 5 & 6 are a bit harder since you're going to be challenged with fog conditions forcing you to only use cockpit instruments to navigate the aircraft, but guess what? You don't have to, so feel free to use your favorite "view-look". One thing I notice was that no matter what "view-look" I used I always got disoriented once I was in the fog, and couldn't maintain my trajectory. What I found helpful and I'm sure this will help you as well, is that by pressing the F7 key and selecting the "Top-Down" view it gives you a clear view of where you're located, and if you "hold & right click on your mouse button" you can access the "Free Look" that can let you zoom-in and out within the "Top-Down" view providing you with a clear view of the Airport/Runway. Now, all you have to do is switch between views every now and then so you can prepare your landing approach.
Last but not least, here are some videos so you can have an idea on how to GOLD these challenges. I hope you enjoy them and good luck! :)
