The best option is to get a good boosting partner and select a time when you can let the game run for extensive amounts of time. For example, a friend and myself let this run every day while we were at work. This gave a full 10 hour run every day we did it and it took about 12 days to hit 100 due to a couple of unexpected disconnects (power, etc.).

What we did was each setup a base and 2 war factories, set the war factories to rally in the middle of the map and queue up 99 tanks at each. This kept the servers thinking we were running the game while the tanks drove to battle each other in the middle.

The only other things we did to ensure that EA's servers didn't kick us off was to use a Play and Charge kit so the controller didn't shut off and stayed online in a live party even though we weren't there.

After setting it up this way, you should be able to stay connected for 10 hours + at a time and then when you are ready to finish for the day either sell off your base or build up enough tanks to take out your partner's base and end the game.

CubivoreTo check how many hours you have played, take your average game time and multiply it by how many games you have played.

TheSuperstinoJust got the achievement and I can confirm most of what's been said in these solutions. If it registers your match in the "my stats" section, it seems to count. You don't need to rubberband your controller, nor do you need to queue an endless supply of units. Disconnected matches DO count towards your total time (up to the disconnect), so you don't have to win/lose and rematch every 10 hours to be safe.

We played ranked and idled as Scrin with a power plant and refinery each. Controllers were plugged in so they wouldn't turn themselves off. All of this also works when playing through BC.

TwistahXDI read somewhere on all of this to keep your controller connected. I can confirm that not to be the case, you can disconnect it and progress still counts

The way i did it was me and a mate plugged our controllers in using plug and play kits made sure auto shutdown was turned off and started an online game and then leave it for 10-15 hours (We did it over night and did it over 8 nights).
The achievement unlocks once the game has ended. - Thank you SRJB for confirming this.

We didn't build anything and had very few disconnections (if any it was due to my WP7 and because we don't live far from each other)

Then about 10-15 hours later the person that needed to lose, just sold there MVC.

Thank you HolyHalfDead confirming this: It has been reported that the games that got disconnected, count up to the point you get disconnected i.e if you leave it on for 10 hours and you get disconnected after 6 hours, then it only counts 6 hours.

Note by SRJB: I unlocked this after the game was over. If you have the 100, do one more short game and kill all your/their units and structures and see if it pops at the game over screen.

I would recommend losing if you need
Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium WarsThe Golding RuleThe The Golding Rule achievement in Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars worth 0 pointsNegative Achievement: Lose 5 MP games in a row

I would recommend doing it on something other than versus so you can work towards
Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium WarsLosing FaceThe Losing Face achievement in Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars worth 0 pointsLose to someone Ranked 20 places below you in a MP Ranked Game

both pointless achievements but completionist like me want them all smile

Also if you are going to vote negative please comment to let me no why.

EthigyDo these have to be done in ranked matches? I’ve now idled for two nights in unranked versus and my longest match says 3 hours.

This achievement will be a nightmare without a friend to boost with. Ranked playlists are the only ones that are included in the total time. The Best way to set up a match is to create a playlist with specific information, such as king of the hill with only 2 player slots open. The have your friend find that game by searching for those specific characteristics. Make sure that you pick the scrin so that you do not have build tiberium storage. At the start of the match build a refinery and a powerplant. Then, just let the game sit for as long as possible. The best way to check on the status of your hours is to go to your statistics. Add up the games played and multiply it by the average game length in minutes. then divide by 60 to determine the hours played. Good luck.
