How to unlock the Get Off the ground achievement

  The description for this achievement was confusing at first, but just to clear things up, it wants you to first snipe Kreidl, then leave the building and kill all of the enemies from the convoy.
  
  This achievement can be unlocked on Mission 1: Schoneberg Convoy. After you have set the charges, shot the explosives to stop the convoy. When Kreidl comes out of the truck, ONLY SHOOT HIM. Do not shoot any other enemies while you're still in the building. After you have taken him out, run down the stairs and out the building. Now take out the rest of the enemies from the convoy and the achievement will unlock. There will be a small tank cutscene, but you will be able to keep killing the enemies right after.

  On sniper elite, this might be easier to do than to do it from the building... the tank doesn't seem to be able to shoot me when I'm downstairs, it keeps aiming toward the position you start at.

  on my first playthrough i put down a few land mines and trip mines on the ground floor of the vantage point. i got notified i killed 3 enemies of the convoy and still got the achievement. i was still on the ground floor, but inside the building so being in the building worked for me.

  If you stop the convey and get the message 3 for 1, restart from the checkpoint. The first two times I did it, I shot the satchel charge and took out 3 vehicles, and it voids the achievement. You are ok if you destroy only the armoured vehicle at the front. I even killed two soldiers not part of the convoy at the same time (they were the soldiers from the cafe) and it still unlocked.

  This is a solution for both Fuel tank and Get off the Ground, as you encounter them at pretty much the same time. I hope this help everyone!
  
  Basically During Mission " - Schoneberg Convoy, right towards the end, when you encounter Kreidl, you need to kill him from your position in the attic. After that you need to make your way down to the ground level and eliminate the remaining troops... Good luck, I hope this help everyone!

  Tried leaving him alive too, bad wording is why I bothered looking for solutions. Fuel tank was a nice bonus, cheers

  you do not have to leave the building. just be on the ground level and shoot out from the windows.
