The eight sacrifices are drowning, exploding, melting, burning, getting flung, getting squashed, getting impaled and getting sliced. If you're trying to not die, you can also get these bonuses by throwing one of your followers into the respective death by holding RT and using the right stick to direct your trajectory.

Easiest way to get:

Drowning - there are pools of soda everywhere, just land in one or throw in a follower.

Melting - A few levels in, you should begin to see activated stove burners.

Burning - Just like above, but use an open flame. Should be plenty before you're out of the cinema levels.

Flung - You'll see mousetraps as platforms in front of you. Landing on one sends you flying.

Squashed - You should see little plastic prize containers that go up and down on ropes of gum - just throw a follower under one while its raised and wait.

Sliced - When you begin to see fan blades, just toss in a follower.

Exploding - When you first start to run into cup cannons, you should have to avoid rotating bombs. Just don't avoid one for this.

Impaled - one of the first obstacles you should run into. When you see spikes sticking out of the wall or floor, just throw a follower into them.
