Unfortunately the achievement image is deceitful as it shows a T-103 with Parasite arms growing out of it's back. That Tyrant (referred to as a Parasite Tyrant) is NOT the one required for this achievement, so someone at Capcom messed up on this one.

Anyways, a Super Tyrant is a Tyrant that has had it's power limiter removed. This dates back to T-002 in the original Resident Evil as it came back more aggressive and a reddish color on the rooftop. A Super Tyrant in RE:ORC is any Mr. X variety (the big trench-coat wearing baldies, not Nemesis) that has received enough damage to mutate thus developing large talons on each hand and an exposed heart. Basically, the thing you fought at the end of Mission 6 in the U.S.S campaign multipled by 5.

Through experience, it took MORE than three Super Tyrant kills to actually unlock this achievement. From what I've heard from others, apparently the actual requirement is FIVE not THREE however there's no way to be certain on this (unless you remove AI partners from the equation and somehow manage to kill each Tyrant without the Railgun stealing your kill). Three problems come in with this achievement:

1.) AI partners. They'll steal your kill on a Super Tyrant even with one bullet from a weak as can be weapon. If they somehow manage to get the kill the Tyrant before you do, it will not be credited in your favor.

2.) Railgun. That thing at the end of RE3:Nemesis that you could use on Nemesis in the final battle? Yeah, basically this is that area...just "remodeled". This thing is a blessing and a curse, one shot from it will turn any T-103 into a Super Tyrant (and there are 5 that appear in this area) but three subsequent shots will result in the death of a Super Tyrant. You could manipulate it, let it do most of the damage to the Tyrants...but the thing fires at any random Tyrant it feels like so you'd have to keep track of each Tyrant and make sure it doesn't steal a kill. Yeah that's right...rail gun kills don't count for you either and there's no way to shut the beast off.

3.) There is no counter for the Super Tyrants in records. They aren't counted under regular Tyrants either, so keeping track is difficult if you're dealing with AI characters and/or the railgun stealing your kills. Thus why some people believe it's FIVE kills and not THREE.

So that explanation out of the way, here's what you do:

Start up the Spec Ops Echo Six Campaign labeled "The Places We're Meant to Die" or on the screen, it's the sixth mission. Blast through on Casual with whatever weapons you feel necessary (I personally used the Riot Gun and Samurai Edge) until you get to the warehouse at the end. Now a Juggernaut IS useful in its own right against a T-103 (the first one you fight all you have to do is blast it a few times in the head and then unload when it's kneeling to kill it) however when facing Super Tyrants, I switched to one of the local weapons found sitting against the walls.

Any type of machine gun you can find target at the Super Tyrants hearts and if need be, try to lure them out of getting shot at by either the AI partners or rail gun. Unfortunately they keep dropping these things so you can end up getting swarmed by Tyrants and never get a chance to stand up because A.) Either a T-103 is constantly punching you down or B.) A Super Tyrant is constantly swiping at you.

When a Super Tyrant is near death it will fall back a little, before trying to advance again after taking enough damage. It will finally die when it grips the heart and hunches a little bit, before keeling over and dissolving. Keep an eye on visual cues and try to make sure it is YOUR bullets that are bringing that death animation.

Even on Casual this fight is a pain due to the Tyrants swarming you and a bad stroke of luck can lead to you dying under constantly getting knocked down by attacks. It is however recommended to try and only kill TWO Super Tyrants then allow yourself to die as you'll reload the checkpoint and spawn back for more Tyrant fighting. If all Tyrants die then it's mission over and you'll have to replay the start again (if you have patience, it's not too bad...but if somehow you don't get a single Super Tyrant kill credited that can get a bit annoying).

Alternative to AI partners you could substitute with real if you can you can work with real people to eliminate some of the hassle and only worry about the rail gun. Other than that, I wish you all luck!
