  Actions

  It's not too difficult to accomplish, so long as you don't rush it. Simply approach the tentacle and rapidly punch each segment till it dies.
  
  There are some secrets with the pot they sit on though (Pretty sure it's the first one that has the bonus in there, if not it's the second) by double tapping down on top of the pot. So high score players would want to go for it anyway.
  
  EDIT - Chase357 has pointed out that if you go into the first pot, you will not be able to defeat the second octopus. So if you want the achievement, don't go into the pot. If you want the high score instead, do this achievement later.

  Actions

  The two octopi are in Level 3. Just punch away their tentacles block by block and they should die. Take it slow and don't rush it. Save before approching the octopi in case you die.

  dont go into the pot after you kill the first octopi like i did.. no 2nd octopi that way, its a shortcut to the end of level.
  
  just carry on after the first octopi, you'll soon reach the 2nd one..

  how do you know what level you are on? i was saving the game level by level and thought i was only on level 2 by the time i found the first octopi!

  everytime when the map is shown you go to the next level, at least that is my impression

  I found that the easiest way to defeat the octopuses tentacle is to set as rapid punch in the controls menu, then lay on the floor next to the tentacles hold down and slowly moving closer as you destroy a part of it until he has 2 bits left then just float up and move slowly towards the tentacle
