How to unlock the Pacifier of Creatures achievement

    Actions
    There are 4 creatures you can ride in Golden Axe III. The fastest way to get this is to go UP at the first path choice then take the UPPER path at the second path choice while riding all the creatures you encounter along the way. You'll ride your 4th creature in the fifth level this way.

    Breakdown:

    The 1st creature a short tongue snail can be found in the very first level. At the end of this level take the path UP.

    The path up leads to the second level but it has no creatures to ride so continue to the end.

    The third level has the 2nd creature a long tongue snail. At the end of this level take the UPPER path again.

    The upper path leads to the forth level which has the 3rd creature a red fire-breathing lizard.

    The fifth level has the final creature you need to ride for the achievement. A green lizard that throws enemies across the screen when you attack.

    Trikke den 1eIt should be worth mentionning the 4 creatures have to be riden on one single playthrough.
    If you accidentally missed the first creature for example, then you'll have to start all over...

    MakkerI read the first comment put it straight on the Japanese version and it didn't unlock. I saved the game, booted it up again on the European version and got it when it should have popped. Seems like it might be a little buggy but it will unlock.

    ZymoticThought I would add that I missed the 3rd dragon (fire breathing dragon) and instead of going up during the fifth level I went right and saw the 3rd dragon at the beginning of level 6.

    sm182Didn't unlock on the Japanese ROM but did on the European ROM.

    Failure OnlineFor some reason I also did not get it on my first run with the Japanese ROM but got it just fine with the European ROM. Sounds like it's just glitchy in general and doesn't have anything to do with the ROM though. I used a continue in my second run and that did not seem to affect it, by the way.

    creech42I also had to play on the European ROM. The game defaulted to the Japanese ROM for me and I tried twice with no achievement. Then I changed it to the European ROM and it unlocked on the fourth creature.

    Cleaner7xI had the same issue as others. The achievement didn't unlock in the Japanese version, but did in the European one.
