1. As I played through this today, not only did I find the big robots much worse than this boss, I also found this to be one of the easiest boss battles in the game on High Grav difficulty.

The trick on the last boss is to shoot and throw the tiny sentry bots at the flaming ball in the middle of the room. Run away from him as much as possible and try to stay on the other side of the circle. Me and my friend had to shoot the ball three times untill it finally exploded and broke the boss' shield and after that shoot him in the face. A new problem arises: ammunition. You'll find it on the left side of the circle when looking forward from where you spawn on a gravlift, just get behind cover and have your friend shoot the boss (assuming he still has ammo) while you gravgrab the weapons and ammo boxes with LB.

Anyhow, the toughest part is the way to the boss.

*2.0 Starting the last chapter:
In the very beginning you'll find yourself in a big hall. The boss is on the end of the room, but WOW! He escapes! You are left to kill the two brutes and a few female lutadores.

**2.1 Et tu, Brute?
So right after the cutscene ends you'll want to tell your friend what to do, actually before that. You two are going to immediately start lifting lava bubbles out of the ground in front of you. To do this you'll need to press RB while using the Low Grav mode of your Gravlink (Blue) and look at the lava pools. Raise the lava bubbles and grab them with LB while still using Low Grav. Throw them at the Brutes and they should fall after roughly 10 hits or so, maybe less. After that focus on the infantry. You can also find RPG's in the rooms on the sides, but they are just a nuisance on the hardest difficulty which you should be playing on.

***2.2 Moving on
After encountering the Brutes and having a good time with them you'll encounter some gravity jumping which is the worst thing in the game hands down. Just take your time and kill all the infantry that's lurking around, if I remember correctly you'll find lurkers which are the ninjas, some snipers with what appears to be Anti-Materiel rifles (one shot kill on High Grav), Slaves and normal luchadores. Work your way through, but never trust the cover. It can crumble right in front of you and leave you dying on the battlefield.

*3.1 Are we on a Halo?
The second minibosses are two (2) extra deadly Sentrybots that will remind you of the Sentinels on Halo. These must have been the toughest fights I had in the game, mostly because when you die you can't be revived.
Breath deep, drink something cold and take your anti-depressants, it's going to be a rough ride.

**3.2 Game over man, game over!
Work your way through the laser spewing Halo clone and down the chute. After that get out of the door, have your friend take position behind the 3 edged pillar and you yourself should take cover behind the claw.
Kill some infantry, and as the robot appears take it down quickly and without remorse. Make no mistake, although it appears cute and soft it isn't. And don't expect the Lutadores to fire at the bots, they're all friendly now.

Pick up all the scrap you can find and throw it at the robot. Don't give it time to shoot. Throw all the stuff you see and use all the corpses too. Everything matters. If you get through the first sentinel don't get too excited, there's another coming up right around the corner.

**3.2.2 Desperation
If you survived in your right mind through the last sentinel, have no fear. The other bot and the infantry might well destroy your dreams.
The appearance of the bot is triggered by jumping to the metal plate with blood on the right side. Stay behind that plate and have your friend get behind the claw and now just grab all the stuff you can and throw it all onto the face of the Halobot! Don't give it a chance to shoot, and if you do happen to let it shoot stay tightly behind the cover and hope for the missiles not to hit you. If you do make it through, congratelute yourself. You've got through one of the possibly hardest points in the game! Now for the easy part, the last boss.

*4.1 Mister Darsomething, I've been expecting you.
As you get to the last chamber you'll see a sweet cutscene and after that a complete shitstorm of "Out of ammo!" and "Noooo, not again!".

**4.2 The actual battle
First of all try to stay out of the boss' way while simultaneously shooting at the shields he has. Every now and then he'll become invincible and start channeling the big ball of fire. Pick the ball as your new target and empty a few magazines from your plasmablaster to it or do it the ammo saving way: grab the tiny bots and throw them at the ball. Should be quite effective.
Have your friend stay a little bit back so in case you die he can come pick you up.

After destroying the ball take a little bit distance to the boss and shoot at his own shields, he'll take a bit of damage before starting to channel the ball again. Rinse and repeat until the shield dies off.
After that just empty your guns on him. If you do it fastly enough he won't get shields back, probably won't get them back anyway but why would you want to wait for achievements? Drop him, and if you and your friend run out of ammo start using the Heavy Grav mod on your Grav links and blast him away. After killing the boss a cutscene appears and the game starts freezing a bit: ACHIEVEMENTS!

If you happened to play through the entire game on High Grav and in Co-Op you'll get scarcely 210G if this is your first time playing.
If you don't know how much that is, well let me tell you, it's a lot for a single ending nowadays.

Tap yourself on the shoulder, have a drink and congratulate and hug your pal, you've finished the game!

Thanks to XCVGames for the walkthroughs videos!
