Chapter: Vanguard Down
Checkpoint: Backyard

You'll spawn behind cover with a shotgun and a helmeted enemy directly in front of you. Headshot him once or twice with his head in the bottom half of the reticule. Rinse and repeat.

I don't know how many I got playing through the campaign normally, but it seemed I was here doing this checkpoint for a good twenty minutes. Judging by some of the other comments as well, that seems to be an expected about amount of time.

Angrymagnox also suggests:

Chapter Six: Road to Hell
Checkpoint: Zero G On Ramp

You spawn just before a Zero G section on your way to destroy the Heavy Mortar.
Three of six of the Lutadore you encounter will have helmets.

The first enemy you encounter – kill the second Lutadore in the window by throwing a barrel at him using the grav-link.
One of the second pair will be helmeted.
One of the third pair will be helmeted.

I found this easier than the Backyard Checkpoint as:
- Leo is less likely to kill the Lutadore before you
- the assault rifle is already equipped as the primary weapon,
- the Lutadore tend to not move about as much when the settle behind cover,
- there isn’t an annoying earthquake in the checkpoint (to unsettle your aim)
- and to be perfectly honest it feels less monotonous (I am not sure it saves you any time though)

Thanks for the comments and thumbs up.
