This is one of the games collectible achievements.
To unlock Carpet Runner, you must collect your first piece of tapestry.
The tapestry pieces are contained within chests, much like swords and bows.
They are fairly obvious and hard to miss. The first chance to earn this is on the Forest Grove level, to the left of the earth charm.
