This achievement is really easy. From the main menu (doesn't seem to work from the pause menu), go to the help & options, then go to credits and watch them. Then you have to do and hold the military salute during the credits for 10/15 seconds.

Little 3vilI feel like someone is playing a bad joke on me....I just stand there in the salute and nothing happens.
I started up the game....used start....than the arrows down to Help&Options --> Credits --> Salute for ages but nothing :(

DoubleUD NLGreat find! Sometimes doing an authentic salute doesn't get recognized by Kinect for me, but saluting from the cheek does always seem to work someway for me. Maybe a similar tactic will help you too Little 3vil!

HyruleBalverineI just got it - thanks - the salute for me was nearly straight up and down. Clearly the gestur recognition varies based on things like lighting and kinect placement. You can easily find what "salute" works for you by loading up any level and making the salute to get a bird's-eye view. Once you have that down, the achievement is a snap.

NicholasHey, this is great, but I couldn't get this right at the beginning. I had to wait til I was done with the first level, 1-5 or whatever. After I started Level 2 it worked. I tried before that and it didn't work.

NicholasI was wrong, I wasn't standing in the right spot.

Cnacu6oTo find menu needed just scroll down in the main menu. I performed salute as is customary in the U.S. Army. Worked perfectly on the very first try.

RebornPastureI needed to salute from the cheek, a proper salute wasn't registering so if it doesn't pop first time, alter position slightly.
