    Simply played it a chilled campaign set at 25% speed for lousy people like me.

    Keep your ship closed up so that it would be easier to avoid the bullets and tapping your ship every time the shield is charged to clear the bullets and also hopefully getting the 50 kills with shield in 1 level.
