With some patience and skill this achievement is isn't as difficult as one would think.

First off when you start the game you may notice it says flip the phone for better touch controls. I suggest you play the game upside down to avoid hitting Back, Windows Home or Bing buttons.

Now fire the game up on Easy (Chilled) with the speed all the way down on 25%.

The game will be boring slow however it will allow you to dodge all the bullets with ease.

I picked the Ovoid ship as it was the smallest, but it made it hard to kill enemies with the crooked shooting. I still managed this achievement first try. I just took my time and used my shield when necessary.

The shield is a HUGE life saver if you get backed into a corner with no gap to fly out. Always check your surroundings and if in need to jump out use your shield. You will stop shooting for a moment but not long enough to hurt you. Keep your eye on the ship and make sure nothings about to hit it.

Now I picked up the 1ups because I was going for the 30 ship achievement. You may want to pick up as many as you can however if you feel it isn't safe DON'T GO FOR IT. Wait until it is safe before grabbing a 1up.

Also NEVER take the Hard Path. ALWAYS fly forward.

Make sure your ships are all squished together during the majority of the game.

I did spread my ships apart a tiny bit to get the big laser during a few bosses and the final boss but I almost lost a ship a few times so it wasn't my best idea.

One more thing, I know the game can be boring on 25% trust me I know but try to keep focus. I honestly spaced out for a bit and almost ran my ship right into an enemy. Stay Cool,Calm and Collective and you should bag this achievement in no time.

    Stay focused and have fun!

Teh ParalyzerIt's more of a whatever you're comfortable with. I felt 50% would be too easy to get killed.

coipHow long does it take to beat the entire campaign on 25%? (that is, how many minutes or hours must one set aside).

I did this on Chilled difficulty on 50% speed with the Ovoid ship. I felt that 25% speed was too slow and took too long, especially after a random screw up in the later stages. On 50% speed, it took about 20-25 minutes to complete. It'd take twice as long on 25%.

I also experienced a problem several times where my game would crash and I'd lose some progress upon restart. It happened twice after the 5th stage (after Mecha Lilith) when I tapped the screen to continue to the next stage. The stage results screen comes up very shortly after killing Mecha Llilth and I was finally able to proceed without crashing by waiting for her death explosion to dissipate under the results screen before tapping the screen to continue.

I took the left path on every stage EXCEPT stage 2. On the right path for this stage, I flew to the right (with my ship staying around the center-left of the screen) and eventually encountered a 1-up pie, which brought me up to 30 ships, resulting in huge damage output (especially with shields).

I kept my ships clustered just big enough to produce the big blue laser, making it easier to dodge bullets.

Shields will instantly kill every non-boss enemy and will even one-shot a few of the bosses (stage 3 and 5 bosses IIRC).

vSullyIt crashed for me twice at that point. On my third attempt I waited for the gray smoke to clear so I could see the screen again underneath the results information, tapped to proceed, and it worked. Maybe it was just random but that's the only time I tried it again.

BenchemThanks, I guess I'll keep persevering now and then. I'm wondering though, what handset do you use? Perhaps mine is too... Basic to handle the game? Or its just bad code.

WeltallAYHave had the same issue. Makes me mad because it surely won't be fixed thus hurting the game quite a bit.
