There are two ways to obtain bikes in this game:
1) Single player, play in the Extreme Championship and collect enough money to buy the 20 bikes.
2) Multiplayer, play Ranked Pink Slips with a friend and win all their bikes.

I strongly suggest you refrain from using the second option. This game has a weird glitch where playing online seems to prevent other achievements from unlocking. I’ve had this problem, and I was forced to restart from scratch. See other solutions for tips to prevent and/or remove this glitch, but note that these solutions may not necessarily work for you.

If you choose to do it in single player, here is a list of the bikes you will need to buy. Note that bike names are sometimes very similar, which can be misleading. To prevent buying the same bike twice, use this list and mark your purchases along the way.

Kurosawa – Sub-total = 176,000
[ ] TXR800 – 18,000
[ ] TX800SR – 30,000
[ ] TXR800R – 38,000
[ ] TX800F – 90,000

How to make money

You only make money during the Extreme championship. The fastest way to make money is to come first in championships, while collecting money for each race along the way. Higher difficulties give more money, but you’ll want to practice at the easier difficulties first. Once you feel confident and your rider has good stats, I suggest completing Champion or Legend championships. Legend obviously gives more cash, but you may have to spend more time restarting races. Here is the rewards breakdown for each Championship:

Champion (“hard difficulty”)
1st position at the end of the season – 30,000

1st position – 1,500
2nd position – 1,350
3rd position – 1,200
4th position – 1,050
5th position – 900

Legend (“hardest difficulty”)
1st position at the end of the season – 50,000

1st position – 2,000
2nd position – 1,800
3rd position – 1,600
4th position – 1,400
5th position – 1,200

In comparison, a first place in the Pro circuit (“medium difficulty”) gives 1,000 a race, 20,000 a season. If you consider that each season counts 17 races, there’s a large chunk of cash that can be acquired during the season too. Thus, money-wise, you’re better off coming in 3/4/5th each race at Champion or Legend difficulty rather than coming 1st at Pro. You should average ~45,000 in total for a Champion series, and ~75,000 in total for a Legend series, depending on your results. Note that you can set the races to 1 lap in the options to make this process go much faster.

Note that qualifying before the race also gives cash. A pole position on Legend difficulty gives 850. Since there is an achievement for getting 100 pole positions, it is a good idea to qualify on Legend difficulty, especially if you consider that starting in the first lane will help you win. Once you have 100 pole positions, you can skip qualifying for most of the tracks, but be ready to fight your way up in the first few corners.

Finally, here is a list of the tracks in the Extreme championship. For each track, I give a suggestion of the position that I would aim for, depending on the difficulty of the track. Of course, it all depends on the results of your adversaries. If the nearest racer is 40 to 50 points behind you in the points chart, you can start relaxing a little bit.

1. Gulf – 2nd or 3rd – The racers in front of you will sometimes crash in the slope. Use this opportunity.
2. Andalucia – 2nd –Lucia always wins this one, but you can do 2nd.
3.Whale Coast – 3rd to 5th – Try to get ahead in the beginning and speed through this hard track.
4. Copa Cabana – 1st – AI has a hard time in the first few corners, which grants an easy win.
5. Riviera –5th or worse – One of the hardest tracks; Qualifying may help.
6. Tuscany –5th – Another hard track; go full speed in the last serpentine corners.
7. Barcelona – 1st or 2nd – Again the AI has a hard time on the first corner, go full speed.
8. Shires – 1st – You can go from last to first in the first corner if you take it from the inside.
9. Low Country – 5th or worse – The worst track, just hope that your main adversary will fail too (you can make him fall).
10. Autobahn – 1st or 2nd – Go full speed in the long stretch and do small movements to cut corners.
11. Monterey – 3rd to 5th – The corners are hard to master. Most of them need to be taken at high speed.
12. Prague –2nd – Bialecki seems to win every time here, but you can do 2nd.
13. Algarve – 2nd or 3rd – A very short track, but you can usually take the lead after the second U-shaped corner.
14. Tokyo – 1st – AI are slow on this track, even at Legend.
15. Outback –5th – Just take it slowly and hope that other racers will fail.
16. Malay – 2nd or 3rd – Easy and fast track.
17. Sevilla – ? – Always try to reach Sevilla with an unsurmountable advantage (more than 25 pts gap). Always check to make sure how many points you need to secure a championship win, and who needs to be behind you at the finish gate.
