    SPOILERS BELOW!

This achievement requires you to beat Round Five of any Circle of Slaughter. The one I got it one was Bandit Slaughter Dome located in Fink's Slaughter Dome, which is in The Fridge. To unlock this, you must progress far enough into the story to the point where Sanctuary is now flying in the Highlands and you can fast travel there again (Not sure if you have to be this far, but that's when I went. To get to Fink's Slaughter Dome, fast-travel to The Fridge and it's literally right in front of you. Now, the Circle of Slaughter is basically survival (Moxxi's Underdome in a nutshell.) You will receive a quest to start on Round 1 when you enter. You have to start on Round 1 and proceed with the other rounds until you reach 5. As you go through each round, enemies will get tougher, Badass enemies and other unique bandit type enemies. As you progress through rounds, they will add more waves, specifically starting at Round 4, so Round 5 will pit you against 5 waves of enemies. Make sure your stocked up before you enter and start the round because you cannot leave the arena once you start. You do not have to do them all at once, as once you finish a round, your done with it forever. Highly recommended in co-op for reviving and a little exploit if needed. Once a person dies, they spawn back in the lobby of the arena and cannot re-enter. If, playing in co-op, the game goes on until everyone dies. To the left of when you spawn, there is an elevator that leads to a spectating area for everyone who died. You can shoot through the metal bars and still help your partner(s). It's far from the fight, so use a high powered sniper. Some action skills, like Phaselock, will still work while up there. Hope this helps!

EDIT: Thanks to RedemtionOWNAGE for confirming this, the enemies remain in the Level 20-24 range, so you could wait until your in the 30's and then attempt this.

EDIT2: The glitched waves are for people dying. For some reason if you fail and then instantly retry the quest it doesn't recognize that the rounds are supposed to keep going. All you have to do is save and quit, load the game back up and then everything works fine. Thanks to FreakOfTheAbyss for finding this out as a lot of people are having problems with it.

EDIT3: You must complete all 5 rounds of the slaughter dome in order to get the achievement. You cannot simply jump into someone's game who happens to be on round 5. Rounds 1-5 must be completed on a single character in order for it to unlock. Thanks osubluejacket for finding this out!

ozbuffinaticyou don't have to complete them in order though. I had done levels 1-3 already and did level 5 in someone else's game, the achievement popped after I finished the 4th wave in my own game.

Hey everyone, I'm going to include a video below that I recorded of completion of the last round as well as a commentary with tips. For the readers though, here's the best tips I can give to ensure you beat round 5:

*If you're going to play at Fink's Slaughterhouse (The Fridge), be at least level 20 when you begin. I started at level 22 and by round 5 I was 24 and it was still pretty tough at times. The enemies seem to always be in the range of 19-24, so try to prepare yourself for that.

*Bring at least one friend. The arena has 2 levels on it and enemies spawn in both. Several times I would have not been able to get a Second Wind simply because an enemy was at the bottom of a set of stairs and I could not get the right angle because I was at the top. Having someone to pick you up helps wonders.

*Be a team player! Try to invest in skills that boost the teams damage/heal. I had my siren set up to drop healing orbs if a phaselocked enemy was killed. I also used a mod that lowered the cooldown of all team member's special abilities. Respec your character if you have to; its really cheap and worth it in the long run.

*Prepare before hand. I had a particular shotgun that I liked to use a lot during the arena. I almost always ran out of ammo. If you have eridium, go the black market in Sanctuary and invest in being able to carry more ammo for the guns you favor. And always stock up on ammo in between rounds! Save grenades for when you absolutely need them; they don't seem to spawn at all in the arena.

*Know your enemies. If you see a suicide unit approaching, kill it as quickly as possible. It will still explode wherever its body landed though, so don't kill it and assume the danger is over. Suicide units are a pain and they'll often have you on the ground with one explosion, so watch for them constantly. Likewise, if there is a Raging Goliath unit loose in the arena, don't kill it! Let it destroy as many of the other units as you can until you must take it down!

*Don't give up! In the video we had a player go down in round 5, locking him out of the arena until we completed it. He discovered that he could climb up around the side of the arena and continue to snipe and still damage the enemies through a window up top!

*Be ready for some bullsh*t. At the moment, this seems to be a really buggy area of the game. In the time that it took us to play all 5 rounds, we ended up having to leave our game all together at least 2 times, simply due to glitches. The problem we always had was that enemies would stop spawning completely, yet the arena door would still be closed and the quest would still be active. The only thing we could do was quit to the main menu and start again.

*Deputy's Badge. If you've completed the optional mission that allows you to deal with the Sheriff of Lynchwood, you'll get the Deputy's Badge relic. This relic adds 10% to the time you stay in fight for your life for every person that has it equipped. Having a whole team with this relic equipped could come in very handy in arenas!

*And finally, watch out for Thief Rats, they can steal thousands of dollars from you at one time! Being flat broke between rounds when you need ammo is bad!

I will continue to add any tips I think of or any good ones that people make me aware of in the comments. Other than that, good luck and let me know if you have any questions!

You can do this in one of three areas.

Fink's Slaughterhouse, found in The Fridge, where you fight bandits (marauders, goliaths, nomads, etc.)
Natural Selection Annex, found in the Wildlife Exploitation Preserve, where you fight creatures (varkids, spiderants, skags, etc.)
Ore chasm, found in Eridium Blight, where you fight Hyperion loaders and personnel

I personally found the Ore Chasm arena the easiest, since the Hyperion loaders are all pretty dopey and all enemies in this arena see to have issues navigating the level geometry. No less than two-thirds of all the enemies in this arena simply stood perfectly still or glitched into a wall or rock somewhere, making the first four rounds a breeze. The fifth round gets a little more intense as you face three constructors and one badass constructor, and the missile volleys and nuclear warheads they spit out can screw you up pretty quick.

I completed this achievement with one other person at level 35. I played Zero with all my points in the Sniping tree, and my coop buddy was Axton and divided his points equally between the Guerilla and Gunpowder trees, since he had a longbow turret with rockets. The first four rounds were simple, but on the fifth I was tossed out of the map from a badass loader melee attack, which I would actually recommend as a strategy for anyone handy with a sniper rifle. I camped in the catwalks above the battle (with infinite ammo available since I could run back to the machine) and my coop buddy hid in the crate on the edge of the map, and I took all the abuse from the enemies while he tossed out a turret whenever he had it available. Nearly the entire final wave was played this way.
