How to unlock the Flying Ace achievement

    In the Chris Campaign at the end of chapter 4 you will be flying the jet and you have to kill the turrets while dodging all of the rockets (press RB fast) if you get hit by one of them just restart the checkpoint. Dont bother shooting the turrets yourself Piers will shoot them with rockets after u lock onto them by looking at them. After the turret section i dont think you can be hit by infantry or the B.O.W..After u shoot the rocket you will get the achievement. WHY DISLIKES?

    EDIT: You can destroy the helicopters too just to make sure they dont hit u

    Heads up for those going for this achievement. Do not die during the flying sequence (Either by crashing your plane or getting hit too many times). I know this might seem obvious, but there's an explanation. Getting hit once and restarting your checkpoint is fine, but dying and hitting "Continue" will void your achievement.

    Same can be said for "Sneaking Around" in Chapter 4 of Ada's campaign.

    EDIT: You can still salvage this achievement after dying by hitting quit instead of continue. After that, select continue from the main menu. By doing this, you will restart from the start of the jet sequence. Credits to Ninja Scroll!

    I won't repeat what others have already posted, but all I can say is that it really is as easy as it looks. Just hit RB when you are prompted and you won't go wrong.

    Delta748Glad I helped! I was confused myself at first, as I was 100% sure I didn't get hit. But then I found out that you couldn't die and hit "Continue", and I had to go through the entire chapter again just for that part. Just trying to help people avoid a small annoyance. :)

    Ninja ScrollActually I can confirm if you die (which I did by running into the ship "DU'OH") you can still get the chevo w/o having to restart the entire chapter. Just select not to continue. Then go back to the main menu and press continue. It will restart the checkpoint where you 1st get into the fighter jet. Chevo unlocked after you kill that big fat mofo on the ship and the rocket is launched. May want to edit the solution Delta748. ;)

    You can also get this as Piers if you're playing co-op and your partner doesn't get hit I just confirmed it. Might be a little easier since you and a friend can both get it at the same time.

    *EDIT* Since I keep getting downvoted I'll put how to get the achievement as well. This part is at the end of Chris' chapter 4, when you get in the jet. If you're Chris, just focus on destroying the helicopters and if a missile is coming at you (the screen will tell you) hit RB to dodge it. Once your partner destroys all the AA guns you should be in the clear, and the achievement will pop after you destroy the missile at the end. If you're Piers, shoot the AA guns as fast as you can so your partner has less time to get shot, then just complete the level normally. If done correctly, you both will get the achievement.

    the Faded RoninTriple confirmed. This also works for the 'Hard Choice' achievement. Both players playing co-op will get achievement as long as the one playing Chris (or jake) meets the requirements
