Domination! achievement in Forza Horizon

This will come naturally after you've gained all your EXP towards wristbands and beating each level's star. The last star who is of course Darius Flynt, his showdown comes immediately after beating him in the Festival Final's.

The race is literally around the entire map, mostly on the highway in the first part. He drives the 599FX that you will win after beating him.

Using the Lamborghini Aventador can easily beat him.

***Nearing the end of the race, stay to your right as if you are getting off the highway. The finish line is on the exit ramp.

Everyone who reads this before he tries the last race against Darius should be aware of the fact that you start this race on the highway and it will also end on the highway. When you are close to the finish line you have to stick to the right side of the road because the highway will split and if you're not clear on the right side you will crash badly and Darius will rush past you and win. This happened to me yesterday (very frustrating) though I think I also chose the wrong car (Bugatti Veyron). I will give it another try with your favored Lamborghini today. :-)

I had the difficulty on Medium as well if that helps, it was fairly easy. As for the end, I forgot which lane I stuck to, but I didn't realize that.

I used to Pagani Zonda and royally beat him down on Medium. But I honestly felt lucky a few times... JUST missing some of the traffic. But I agree with perceptron3000 that I would add that at the end you need to get off the highway to win.

Done, also note, as long as you take your time in the route and not hit much, beating him would be extremely easy.

yeah i don't know what happend but i think Darius made a break ;-)

When we left the highway he stopped and didn't follow me ...
raced the whole track alone and over the finish line i looked at the times ...
me 100%
Darius 26%

dafuq? well ok ... achievement popped and i got the car but still strange scenario ...

Well, to me it was difficult as hell, even on medium, I didn't crash at all( I used several rewinds) but couldn't keep up with him towards the end. Wtf? I searched the rivals and all of my friends had a time close to mine, but I finished 9s behind him!

Same as BastiXS96: I outran him on the Highway with my Lamborghini Aventador. At the first split time on the highway he was 4 seconds behind me. Then I lost sight off him on my radar. He also disappeared on the map. I raced on and even stopped briefly turning around to look for him - nothing. When I finished the race my counter in the race results was at 100%. His was frozen at 26%! He definitely did not reach the finish line, he came not even close to it. Something must have happened during the race. He could have had a terrible accident... though his car which he handed over to me after the race was fine ;). Or did he just piss in his pants and gave up? Funny

I was getting smoked by him, until the left hand turn onto the two iron bridges.... he apparently didnt make the turn and fell down below....as I could see his name tag going down when I came up to the turn.... he later respawned closer to me for no reason.... still was able to beat him, despite the viper I was driving (6th gear, starts slowing down)
