Hi!
The Drift events are, in my opinion, the hardest ones in this game.

Here's some tips:

- Upgrade your speed and acceleration as much as you can. Don't upgrade your handling (suspension and brakes).

- Before the start of the race, press X for car settings, press left trigger for the Body tab, change the Car Height to Low. Go to the gear tab and change the Gear Final Ratio to Short. Save this car set up.

- During the start race countdown, press start and go to the Options menu. Go to Game Options, turn Auto-Brake fully on, Braking Help ON and turn Stability Help OFF. Keep the rest as you like.

- Do a few practice runs to learn the track layout and where the drift areas are. Check where you must go flat out and where you must go slow.

- The drifting part. Never go too fast into the corners. You will spin out and fail the drift or just not score enough points. Remember, there is no rewind function in the drift events. Keep it slow, steady and cool. Practice. It is important to score as many points (400-500 per turn) as possible in the begining, so that in the later stages of the race you can go flatout.

- In Portugal, Mexico, Monaco, and in Greece, the secret is to score between 500 and 600 points in the first few turns, then take it easy. In New Zealand, you are given 1 minute 47 seconds to score 4500 points. The secret in New Zealand is to have at least 1200 points after the first 3 corners, and score a minimum of 800 points in the double drifting corner after the long gap without drifting corners.

- In Wales, a very short track, you must score 2500 points in 47 seconds, in 5 turns. Try to get a minimum of 700 points per turn in the first 4 turns, so that you do not have to worry about the 5th and last turn. Slow into drifts, fast out of the drifts, keep those wheels spinning.

Hope it helps.
