Firstly, be prepared for a long grind. You cannot sim ANY games throughout the 10 years otherwise it will void the achievement. You will get an ingame message telling you this when you attempt to sim.
Other than the grind, you can only fail this achievement by getting fired if you lose all your money, so be sure not to spend too much upgrading your coaching/injury recovery at the beginning of each season. I would advise not spending anything on these to ensure you also get
If you want to play the minimum amount of games per season, DO NOT choose to play as any of the rep teams at the very beginning of your career. Also finish outside of the top 8 so you don't play any finals matches. Your first season may be the exception if you are going for the other career specific achievements:
The Superman achievement in Rugby League Live 2 worth 203 pointsWin the Dally M or Man of Steel award in an NRL or Super League season in Career mode. As an NRL team you have to play at least 26 games (2 trial & 24 regular season) and each game takes roughly 12mins with stoppages & loading times. Add in the menu loading and managing your injuries etc and 1 year from start to finish takes roughly 5-6 hours!
Personally, I played the first 3 seasons legit then used my turbo controller when I had to be away from the console. Set A button to turbo and it will go through a game start to finish in about 15mins. It's a little longer & you will lose by alot (even on Casual). It will even start up the next game if you do not need to make any line-up changes due to rep call-ups or injuries/suspensions.
I rented the game on release day & finished in 10 days. I won 3 premierships and "won" 4 wooden spoons.
There's probably a lot more little tips I have forgotten but I will update if I think of any. Also please comment below if you have any questions.
