Make no mistake -- this one will hurt. However, there are several things that will kill your chances of getting this achievement long before your legs tire out:

Transitions: You need to switch exercises when the trainer starts talking about the next exercise, and not when he/she actually switches to the next exercise on-screen. Until I realized this, I would fail out of sudden death at the start of the second round of lunge jumps every time, and was stuck in the 70 - 80 point range. As soon as I switched it up, I shot up ~100 points on my next attempt.

Form: The game is fairly forgiving here -- experiment a bit with how far down you have to squat/lunge, etc. Every bit you don't need to move is energy saved for the later sets.

Arms: It is vitally important to keep your arms moving as the game expects, or else you'll lose the movement bar even if your legs are in perfect position. Make sure you're pumping the opposite arm during lunges (especially the jumps, when it's easy to forget about your arms while you're focusing on wobbly legs) and really swinging them back at the bottom of the squat jumps.

Warm-ups: Skip them. All they do is drain energy that you'll need by the third minute of the challenge. Besides, your legs will be plenty warm within 30 seconds of starting :)

If you take care of these four items, the achievement will become a private matter between you and your quads.

Also, one other thing worth mentioning is that just by nature of the fact that the game is dealing with fundamentally fuzzy/ambiguous input (i.e., Kinect), expect to get called done while you're still doing things perfectly at least once or twice. It's extremely frustrating, so just try to channel that frustration into your next attempt.

Sgt Malarkey BrVery nice. My first try was 80, now it`s 164. That just got better by closing the windows from my home and playing only with lights on.

I failed on the transaction, and didm`t know why. This.

Hope tomorrow to get this !!!

v for erikI have a problem with this. alla exercies but squats if working fine for me. For some reason when I do the squats it doesn't count at all. I mean nothing. Even if I squat down as low as I can it doesn't count as anything

This was a nightmare for me, but J Schwizzle's tips really helped. One more thing I thought I would add for this achievement is that when transitioning from squats to the lunges you can actually do ski jacks for both the next sections. I was able to get most of my numbers from this and hit 300 after 3 rounds through the cycle. Also for jump squats you don't have to squat all the way down. The main thing was throwing your hands in the air to keep the bar up.

Just keep going at. This achievement had me so pissed off yesterday. I was at 275 and I was lunging no problem and all of a sudden the bar dropped. I was so sore from trying to get this achievement as well. Just plug away and remember it's a good thing you don't have a controller in your hand for this one. I'm sure I would have thrown mine at the tv yesterday :)

For those that don't know what a ski jack is here is a video of some random dude doing them on youtube:

**Also please note that you do need to be in some sort of shape to do this achievement. I am honestly in good shape and my heart rate went through the roof on this achievement, so if you're a couch potatoe I would say avoid this or actually play through the game (cause it is a good work out) and attempt this last or forget it.

If you vote negative please let me know why, thanks :)

First of all, thanks to all the previous authors, their solutions really help!
One thing I want to add is rather "technical": For this achievement you seem to need a bit more space than for any other workout you do in the game.
This is mainly because of what J Schwizzle already described: You have to use your arms a lot, so Kinect needs to have a "complete " vertical view when your arms are up. If you don't have enough space you will notice this in the 4th of the 4 workout-parts: Kinect sometimes does not recognize your movements, lowering your movement bar because of that. So, I have the following two rather simple tips:

    1. Rearrange your furniture so that you have more space than normal
    2. Also very important: Recalibrate the Kinect again (with the "smiley-card") for best possible results

Runner7922All of the solutions and comments helped me a lot. Collectively, there are many "tips" and I used them all to go from a score of 34 (first try), then 79, then 84, then 158 and finally 340, after putting all the tips to practice. I'm over 60 and had a heart operation 2 years ago so this should not be an impossible achievement for most people who really want it.
