To get this achievement, you need to drop off 500 chains total in the Big Ass Chains modes (Big Ass Chains and Team Big Ass Chanins).

When you kill an enemy player, they will drop a Big Ass Chain. You need to collect these chains and drop them off at a map location that changes every 2 minutes. You do not have to kill the enemy player yourself -- they could commit suicide or be killed by another player -- you just have to grab the chain and drop it off.

FNX HITMAN FNXThe leaderboards only seem to update if your match lasts less than 5 minutes. All chains collected in a match of any length will add to the total for the achievement :)

gobey17Tried to make a session recently with some boosters, but after a few minutes each one of our games would freeze in the middle of a match. Leaderboards not showing anything, so are the servers screwed and that means we can't technically boost any of the MP now? :/

ZachirothCan confrim servers still running as of 27/01/23. Game does not visually track progress but can ensure the achievement will pop after 500 chains have been dropped off. I personally quad boxed this and aimed for 17 chains per match. Took about 7 hours with regular stops for food etc.

The Globalizers solution is simple and to the point. Here is another more detailed strategy.

For this achievement, you want as many players as possible boosting this together. If you have more than 8 players though, communication will become an issue since XBox live parties are maxed out at 8.

Have one person designated as the chain collector and one person killing the enemy players. The person that is collecting chain will NOT get ANY kills. Each kill earns you 3 points towards your match points.

The person that is collecting chains will commit suicide 1 time throughout the match, preferably at the beginning of the match. The reason for this is because if you collect 10 chains and turn them in, you earn 125 points. Match ends at 250 points. 1 suicide will allow you to turn in 30 chains per match because after turning in 20, you will be at 247 points.

Once you get comfortable with this, you can have 2 persons designated as chain collectors, one using the commit suicide 1 time method and the other collecting 19 chains and neither player getting any kills.

If you get even more comfortable with this, you could add a 3 player getting as many chains as possible (up to 19) before time runs out.

The main goal is to get chains on the floor any way possible. These chains will not disappear during the match. Players that are not designated as collecting chains should die as quickly as possible, whether it be making their way the the designated killer, or committing suicide.

Here are some extra strategies that are map specific-

Parking garage- Jumping off the 3rd and 4th floors are a quick way of getting chains on the ground. It is easier for 1 person to go collect chains on the ground than it is for 6 or so players to meet in one area (that changes every 2 minutes)

Derby- No quicker way of getting chains on the floor other than meeting up in the designated drop off area.

The other map- Jumping off the building and or going to the middle of the map and using the rocket launcher to blow yourself up is the quickest way of getting chains on the floor.

To add to the contributing solutions above, It is possible to get 40 chains within one game with 4 active players.

First of all you need to be playing "Team Big Ass Chains" - The boosters team mate will need to kill themselves a few times which will give the boosters team minus points, the opposing team can then pick up your team mates chain which will give them one (resulting in two when you kill them). The booster can also kill their team mate giving them -3. Make sure you have a opposing player pick up your team mates chain at all times as it will speed this process up.

Make sure that your score does not pass 275 when going for the third set of chains, if it does kill your team mate or have them kill themselves to lower the score. It is key that the score after the second set of chains does not pass 275 otherwise you will not get a chance to collect the fourth set.

Eventually after you have dropped off 30 chains, you should have a score of 380 to 399 - if it is 397,398 or 399 have your teammate kill themselves or you kill them, to reduce the score. What also works is having a oppsite team member pick up the chains and then kill them when there at 10 to prevent you from overcapping your score.

Resulting in 40 chains :) per game!

XxxNAILBOMBxxXTo anyone looking to get this achievement this by far is the best solution. In teams your less likely to run into randoms. In my 1st session once we got the ball rolling, guys were getting 44-47 chains on average. I once would've gotten 50 but a random of course ruined that. Getting those negative points is key, just do not forget to watch your score!

Impdaddyzer0If you can get 8 people together, and if done efficiently, it is possible to get one person 50+ chains, while the rest of the team gets 10 to 20 chains each, all in a single match. One person got 57 chains in a single match. It's like the solution says. It's ALL about reducing your score and strategically dropping off chains.
