How to unlock the Parts Shop achievement

  You get this achievement for winning an event in World Tour mode with a mod equipped. You get mods for leveling up, so my example is level sonic to level 2 and get the Balanced mod, (balances out Sonic's stats a bit) and finish any event. It can be the C class (easy) or B or A, makes no odds.

  30 hours playing, 214 stars in world tour, but impossible to unlock this achievement ! need help !

  If you tried the above with any character and it didn't unlock you may have a bugged achievement :(
  I assume you did a world tour event with any mod except the standard one selected?
  
  Only other thing I can suggest would be to copy your save file to the cloud, delete it from your HDD, start a new game on your HDD and try getting the achievement on a fresh save. If it works, you know your save was just glitched but since you'll want your progress back, delete your new save on the HDD and copy your main one back from the cloud.

  FWIW, I had the same issue. I was able to get the achievement by clearing my cache and starting a new game, and immediately using metal sonic with the speed mod on the very 1st race (C Rank) and getting 1st place.
  
  I then dashboarded, cleared my cache again, and loaded my normal save and was able to get the sticker as well (metal sonic+speed for 1st in 1st race C rank).

  Achievement only unlocks on an event you have not won any stars on.
