Sounds hard, right? Well, it's not. Don't bother setting up sessions or adding leaderboard people to your friends list. You see, this can be done using a different account on your own console, it doesn't even need to be a gold account.

What you need to do is get a gold medal with your other account, then beat that score with your main account to unlock the achievement. The achievement description is somewhat confusing in that regard, as you may be lead to believe that beating any score is fine, as long as YOU get a gold medal. That is not the case, but don't worry, this isn't hard to do.

So make a new gamertag, a silver account, and fire up the game. Head straight into region 11, which is already unlocked from the start, and pick level 11-2, as it's the easiest to get a gold medal on. Here are the shots you should make.

1. Basic Shot
Aim right and fire through the score token above the hill. Curve the shot down to the left and hit the satchel charge there. The shot will bounce around a little and take out a few towers, and you should end up with a 2x multiplier.

2. Speed Shot
Fire it at the Hot Goblin over by the castle and try to make it pass through as many of the remaining towers in the back as possible. This should take you to a 3x multiplier.

3. Basic Shot 2
Fire it so it hits below the satchel charge on the big pillar that holds up the bridge. It should then continue to bounce and take out another satchel charge in the back, which will give you a Massive Damage bonus icon. This coupled with getting a 4x multiplier should put you very close to gold. If it somehow hits a 5x multiplier here, restart the level or use a mulligan, as your score will likely be too hard to beat.

4. Bounce Shot
As you should now be close to gold, consider hitting one or two of the remaining score tokens, followed by just a bit of destruction, so you'll end up just above gold. You want your score to be as easy as possible to beat, after all. If you're already just above gold after the basic shot, just fire this one off somewhere where it won't hit anything.

Now you should have a gold medal score on your silver account, and it should be as low as possible without being a silver medal. Sign that account out, and get back on your main tag. Make sure you have your silver account added as a friend. Go back to 11-2, and repeat the first three shots. Now try to make the bounce shot as good as possible, so that it puts you above your silver account. Shooting for a score token and then curving the shot toward the biggest remaining piece of the castle should do the trick, and the achievement will unlock at the end of the level when you pass your "rival's" score.

Hope this helps :) If you have a question, leave a comment and I'll respond as soon as I can.
