How to unlock the Compatriot achievement

    I'm on a windows 8 Nokia Lumia 920.
    Send me a friend request
    Select "Create new game",
    swipe across to friends then picked me off your friends list.
    As the game loads the achievement should pop as with some of the other achievements of this type such as the "Unpredictable" and "Proposal" achievements, with out the necessity to play the whole game, if so players can resign to save time, but I don't mind playing them through, It'll help to get the "Jubilee" achievement.
    It's nor necessary for the friend request to be accepted as my GT will appear on your list once the invite has been sent.
    If you do decide to do this could you please remove me once you have the achievement as my friends list is getting a tad full.

    JDoninatorHave the same problem as noted above, i go to "add new game" and swipe over to friends list, I then select a friend and it brings up my email to send an email. not sure why this is happening, I did note two other people were having the same problem though (mealtikit and LausDomini).

    londonwelshHow long does it take the friends list to refresh? Just added Pinicus and Xinqev but neither are showing.....

    londonwelshGot it.....just added someone from one of the high score lists, invited them to a game and the achievement popped straight away. Very strange.....

    BJShamMessage 'Unable to retrieve your friends list at this time' has been appearing for last 5 days - although they do show up on W8 version. Anyone else having the same problem?

    Windymillr@BJSham. Yes, I have had this for about 2 weeks, I can't see it working for me now before it goes forever, I would usually re-install but it's no longer in the App store :(
