Third and Final DLC Council Mission.

For me this Mission came 1 Day after Completing the 2nd DLC Mission. This Time you have to shut down Generators while Facing many Aliens (17 on Easy ) . Simply Shut Down all the Generators and Kill all remaining Aliens to End the Mission... not much more to say :)..

It is also worth Mentioning that you get a TON of Alien Resources for Completing this Mission... use them wisely :)

TsukimiYes, the mission is coming up just the next day.. so my Zhang was heavily wounded in the last mission which makes him cannot join the last mission of his storyline..

X InFlames80 XThe Rising Dragon Achievement is for bringing your New Ally to the last MAIN STORY Mission not the DLC Mission so don't worry :)

TsukimiJust finished the mission on easy .It's really tons of resources! Looks like it could be a great help for my impossible playthru..

TsukimiYeah, I read your guide for Rising Dragon. But I just wanted him to join every mission for his story line :p
BTW, in Gangplank, most of the aliens comes out from nowhere and started w/ a overwatch, it would be easier to kill them if yr assault class soldiers hv lighting reflexes to make the 1st overwatch missed and approach the alien for the kill.

RougeRogue1Yep, LOVED to see the nice influx of resources -- still ran out of weapon fragments later on in my run, but that's to be expected, given how often I'm capturing live aliens. :)

Jimbo LaFleurPlayed it on normal and had 18 aliens, just for info.

talkstogodJust wanted to say that if you don't do Gangplank it comes up again... and again... and again. The council's been telling me to do it every 3-4 days for over a month now, so no rush. I'm running through on normal, my first playthrough, if that matters.

x RepoUK xVery easy to complete if you leave it late like me.
I used this mission on my Ironman/Classic run to reduce the amount of terror/abduction/etc missions by just ignoring it so that it came around again and again (as talkstogod said above). Almost all of the mission pop-ups were for Gangplank which let me earn a stack of money and research what I needed whilst only having to go on a few combat missions.
When I had Titan armour & plasma weapons I assaulted the Alien Base first then this. Total enemies were 2 Sectoids, 20 Thin Man, 1 Muton, 1 Cyberdisc and 2 Chryssalids. You get over 300 Elerium, over 500 Alloys, 6 Flight Comps, 5 Power Sources, 2 Fusion Cores and 50 (IIRR) weapon fragments.
