Reward Cards are an internal achievement system in Need for Speed Carbon. In addition to all of the XBox achievements for this game you must complete additional tasks. The only achievements you do not have to fulfill to get this achievemnet are "Race Week" and the 4 "Viral" achievements. Some tips on the Reward Cards not covered in the Achievement system:

    1) All pursuit based reward cards and achievements require a successful evasion of the police. If you are busted, whatever you have just done will not count.

    2) Infractions are accumulated depending on what you do to catch the cops attention and do during the chase. These are the infractions commonly believed to be possible. Remember you must do these in police presence. If they don't see it, it won't count:
Property Damage (Hitting Pursuit Breakers), Hit and Run (Hitting a vehicle) Ramming a Police Vehicle, Speeding (150mph), Excessive Speeding (180mph), Wreckless Driving (200mph), Resisting Arrest (Entering "Cooldown" mode)

    3) Never EVER go to the dashboard or turn off your XBox without saving. Achievements may pop up, but reward cards rely on your save game and therefore may be earned and lost if you do not go to the main menu and save either manually or with autosave. If you are in an online lobby, your reward cards are not being saved until you back out.

    4) You will need to win 25 Ranked Matches of each online race type. This does not need to be done in a row, but it must be in ranked.

    5) When you are going for Online Reward Cards, you will NOT see a message pop up to tell you what you have earned. You will see a message pop up for each XP level you earn, however. Always go to the Reward Card menu to check if you have unlocked something.

um. How do you download a shadow car and use photo mode online?
    Posted on 13 Dec 15 at 22:55
Download a shadow car = quick race, select any sprint, press A, then switch game mode to solo, ranked and shadow option to "current leader's shadow". As soon as the download is done, press LB to start a photo mode. Press Y to upload to servers.

FlolaisI can't seem to upload a photo....which if that is true for other people then this achievement is unobtainable.

The solution of Edward Hyena is absolutly correct, but there are some things you have to remember. Two of the offline cards are pretty difficult to achieve. 1. Getting $1.000.000 and 2. 20 Defense races.

For the $1.000.000, please check this solution:
Need for Speed: CarbonCareer MogulThe Career Mogul achievement in Need for Speed: Carbon worth 32 pointsEarn 1,000,000 cash in Career Mode

You still can get the money after beating the story, but it will be annoying, since you only get about $500 per win by replaying older races.

For the 20 Defense races, please note: YOU MUST DO THIS BEFORE BEATING THE STORY. You will NOT be able to do these kinds of races after the story, because no rival crew is going to challenge you again. If you want to be challenged, play a race you haven't won yet, but lose it. I prefer Checkpoint Race, because you drive alone in case your teammate screws things up and wins. When you have the 20 races, you're free to beat the story.

EDIT: I heard a few questions about these defense races, mostly because they won't pop up. If that happens to you, try the following: Play a few races (around 4 or 5 is sufficient) that you ALREADY WON! Now, play a race you haven't won, try to win it and with a little bit of luck, a rival gang challenges you to a Defense Race. I hope that helps.

As for other cards, leave me comment or write me a message and I will help you out. Any card but these two can be achieved even after the story or in Quick Races.
    Good luck with that achievement!

Epsilon ThetaYou can get that one only during career. Just go to Free Roam and you will be able to access photo mode.

A different question, how to I get the card for amassing the fine?

Dooby UKSorry if this has been asked too many times but I got the achievement for beating the mod, also for getting the reward card for reaching level18, but I haven't got the reward card. This was a year or two ago (I just came back to grind this game out at last) but I think I would have backed into the menu and saved. Will these both re-unlock if I beat the mod and reach a higher level? Or are they gone forever and I have to start a new profile?

Epsilon ThetaYou can get the cards again. Just don't forget to save this time! wink

The servers are now back up and running (09th March 2016).

In my search for some clarification on some of these reward cards I stumbled on the below Reward Card Guide. It is extremely well written and covers just about everything you might need to know about going for this achievement. From 'restarting your career and keeping current reward cards right through to pursuit tactics. I figured if there are any other players out there making a last ditch effort to go for this achievement, I thought it was worth while posting the link here. Clearly I take no credit for the guide. All credit goes to the author - FFVIITattoo.

And best of luck with these glitchy servers - Happy Hunting!
